“Beaches” Is Now Available on Blu-ray

I remember the first time I watched the movie, Beaches.  I cried A LOT!!!  For the first time on Blu-ray and digitally restored, you can own this classic comedic drama starring Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey!  The Blu-ray is available for purchase online and in stores, retailing for $20.00.

MY THOUGHTS

Beaches is definitely one of those “classic” chick flicks that you must watch with tissue and know that you WILL cry at some point in the movie.  I remember watching it on television and on VHS, but the experience of watching it on a Blu-ray far surpasses any other way.  Not to mention the extras you can enjoy on the Blu-ray copy.  I could replay “Wind Beneath My Wings” a bunch of times and not be sick of it.  I love that song and it especially made me get teary-eyed.  Plus, the Blooper Reel was pretty funny!  A big thanks to Touchstone Pictures for this review opportunity on The Mommy-Files!!!
