MY THOUGHTS

I was really looking forward to receiving our copy of Pete’s Dragon in the Blu-ray Combo Pack and my boys were excited to see it today!  It is so much better on the Blu-ray and DVD than I remember as a kid!  The bonus features were pretty awesome too.  My favorite was the “Brazzle Dazzle Effects,” as well as the alternate version of the “Brazzle Dazzle Day” song.  I am so glad we get to add this Disney Classic to our family’s movie collection.  A big thanks goes out to Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment for this review and giveaway opportunity on The Mommy-Files.

  1. Wanted to enter. LOVE LOVE LOVE Pete’s Dragon. If this is not it send me in the right direction. So glad your blog is doing well. Can’t really pick.a favorite part. Can sing ALL the songs and can recite most of he lines. Pasamaqudee should really exist!!! 🙂

  2. I love the dragon! It has been so long since I’ve seen this, would love to share this with my children. Thanks for the chance!

  3. I watched this over and over again on cable. I guess it was when I was in high school and we’d just gotten cable. I don’t remember many of the songs, except for the one that describes Elliot (“He has the head of a camel, the neck of a crocodile, and the ears of a cow.”) and the one Helen Reddy sings, “Candle on the Water.” It’s a great movie!
