Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare Toy Review {Giveaway}

My boys really enjoy playing with toy cars, especially racing them!  So, when we had the opportunity to have a play date with friends and check out the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare Toy, we were all over it! With the Double Dare Snare Track Set, you can take one-on-one racing and high-risk stunt action to the limit.  You’ll have a blast with the two-car track, hair-raising loop and dangerous jump.  There’s a “catch” for the winner but the other driver must make the jump or take the fall.

On Saturday, June 30th, Hot Wheels took the Double Dare Snare to another level and brought it to life at this year’s X Games Los Angeles.  The Double Dare Loop was six-stories tall, with a dual vertical loop that paired two Team Hot Wheels drivers together, placed into a never-before-seen upside down challenge.  The stunt was the biggest thrill of the summer!

The two drivers entered the six-story tall loop, hitting 7 Gs as they circled through.  The G-force created in the Hot Wheels Loop Dare was equivalent to what fighter jet pilots experience in flight.

In 2011, Team Hot Wheels achieved the impossible–landing a 332 foot distance jump at the 100th Indianapolis 500. The epic feat earned Hot Wheels the world record for a four-wheeled vehicle distance jump and a new-found respect from fans around the world.

Team Hot Wheels Drivers Team Hot Wheels is comprised of the most fearless and skilled drivers in the world. Each team driver is exemplified by a unique personality and driving style, and they take on only the most outrageous stunts. The Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare will be attempted by the Green Driver, known for his need for speed, and the Yellow Driver, recognized for using his power to push the limits.

Tanner Foust (Team Yellow) – a three-time X Games Gold medalist, two-time Formula Drift Champion and also earned Hot Wheels the coveted world-record-breaking distance jump at last year’s Indianapolis 500. This year Tanner will also be competing at the X Games in Los Angeles in the Rally- cross circuit.

Greg Tracy (Team Green) – one of the top stuntmen in Hollywood, Greg has been doing stunts for movies and commercials since 1991. He is also a six-time Pikes Peak Champion – one of the most extreme racing events in the world.

Double Dare Snare allows boys to race 1:64 scale Hot Wheels® side by side, down a twisty track, through a hair-raising loop and over a jump at the edge of a steep canyon.  Inspired by the real life crew of Team Hot Wheels™ drivers, this daring stunt set proves that two vehicles are better than one.

The winning vehicle in the Double Dare Snare™ is carefully scooped to safety by a quick snapping snare and saved from a perilous fall. Meanwhile, the slower car must attempt the harrowing jump or plummet to the ground trying.

Our Double Dare Snare Track Set Play Date

The boys had a blast playing with the Double Dare Snare Track Set and immediately divvied up the cars between them.  There were four boys and four cars, so it worked out perfectly.  They had a blast playing with the set and sat down together playing for about an hour non-stop, with nothing but laughter.  Plus, one of the 7-year olds was able to put the track together himself.  You know it’s an awesome toy when the child can put it together to play.
