So Good, So Sweet Story on The Mommy-Files #sogoodsosweet
Life is full of sweet moments and as a mother, I found that many of the moments happen within my own family. We recently went on a camping trip with my kids and my boyfriend and his kids and parents. I hadn’t been camping in a long time and was looking forward to new experiences.
The kids had a blast! We hiked, barbecued, told stories, and they played a lot in the great outdoors. My little one, Sam, was playing at the park and came over to say hi to me. The next thing I know, he pulls a flower from behind his back and says, “Mommy, I picked this just for you.” My heart melted and it was such a sweet surprise!
We had a few other sweet moments following our camping trip. My oldest had such a fun time and kept asking, with happiness in his voice, when we would be go camping again. He loved the playing, story telling, and spending time camping as a family. Not only was it sweet for them, it was sweet for me. I’ll cherish every sweet moment I can get!

I loved your picture entry into KFC’s contest. It reminded me of my family when we went camping. I’m the eldest of six kids and we were all Girl Scouts and a Boy Scout. We did a lot of family campouts, too. Thos are of my oldest memories. 🙂
Flowers are the sweetest when it comes from your child, right ? 🙂
I’m glad you stop and enjoy all the moments your kids give you. It’s easy for people to get wrapped up in daily stresses. It’s important to stop and appreciate the good times.
