I read somewhere that if you put a dry towel in with your load, it cuts down on the time it takes for drying. I hvae been doing that for a year now and I must admit that it seems to work pretty well.

I prefer a clothesline, but living in an apt where I have to go to a Laundromat stinks. My advice, use dryer sheets for towels and sweaters at the very least!!!

  255. Jean Lynd says:

Always spin your clothes out in the washer as high as you can, b/c it eliminates dryer time & wear.

  256. alycep says:

One tip is to not overload the dryer-it takes much longer and clothes get wrinkled. Do 2 smaller loads.

  257. Amy S says:

I try to not put too many clothes in the dryer at once, and pull them out as soon as the dryer shuts off to avoid wrinkles.
