Jif To Go + Giveaway

The summer is filled with travel and activities that keep us on the go.  So why not grab your Jif To Go™  and have a healthy snack handy when you need it during your travels?  Not to mention school is starting this week, if it hasn’t already started, and our kids are going to be needing healthy snacks to keep them energized throughout the day.  Jif To Gois perfect for parents and kids on the go.  Combine it with pretzels, celery, apples, or any of your favorite fruits, vegetables, or crackers and you have a yummy, healthy snack instantly!

Jif has some tips that will make traveling and vacations easy and fun for the entire family:

– Get the whole family involved in planning getaways and have each person choose at least one activity so everyone is looking forward to the trip.

– Bring travel-friendly snacks everyone loves, like Jif To Go™ Peanut Butter.  Each 1.5-ounce cup is perfect for dipping while you minimize mess and maximize portability.

– Play travel-related games such as I-spy or license plate bingo.  They’re a great way to pass the time and keep the entire family entertained.

When we travel, I have to make sure that my boys are kept busy or they get bored and start bickering with one another.  We play the “I Spy With My Little Eye” game, as well as the ABC sign game.  We’ll take turns spying things and then we’ll switch to the ABC sign game (i.e. letter “E” is in “Exit”).  My boys also love to sing and make up silly songs and stories on our drives.  I try to make sure that there are always snacks and water in the car for them, especially if we are traveling a long distance.

MY THOUGHTS

We love the Jif To Go™  Travel Packs!  They are great for traveling, as well as including in lunches for school or your purse for a light snack.  It is super yummy dipping apple slices or pretzels in the peanut butter.   Right now, Jif To Go™  is only available in the Creamy type.  I can’t wait until Jif comes out with the crunch peanut butter variety!  A big thanks to Jif for this review and giveaway opportunity on The Mommy-Files!

  1. Well Jif goes with ANYTHING and from the time I met my husband it is the ONLY peanut butter he will eat or have me buy and I admit I have to agree,it is the BEST, now to what I put with it sometimes, nutella,I l know it is like a double whammy,I spread a layer of Jif on my rice cake and then a thin layer of nutella!

  4. I like Ritz crackers with peanut butter and a slice of banana on them…yum!
Apple slices with pb on them is a close second.

I looove peanut butter and for a snack I like to pair it with pretzels. I buy the large pretzel rods at the store and dip them in the peanut butter. The kids also like to have this snack and it does a good job and satisfying them until dinner.

  6. I love to combine celery sticks with the peanut butter (which the jif-to-go- provides the perfect thing to dip it into!)

  7. Sometimes I have peanut butter on whole grain wheat and pecan crackers. If I want to be “bad”, I’ll have a grille peanut butter and chocolate chip sandwich.

I love peanut butter and banana sandwhiches. I also like peanut butter and graham crackers. Thank you!!

  13. Favorite thing to snack with JIF? I honestly wouldn’t know where to start, lol. My little brother lived with me through his middle and high school years. He loved fried pb and j. My daughter yums it up with honey and JIF. I love to spread it on waffles with syrup. My son is 7 and almost a vegetarian, I can get him to eat a chicken nugget occasionally and sometimes he eats pepperoni on his pizza. He likes fish sticks. Other than that he eats JIF twice a day. It literally supplies most of his daily essential nutrients. I leave to-go packs and crackers with his teacher because he’s slightly hypoglycemic and if he’s extremely active(especially b4 lunch) sometimes he gets weak and feels “pale”. He’s passed out completely on us twice. I truly don’t know what I would do without JIF.

  14. Thanks for the giveaway…one of our kids favorite snacks is peanut butter, raisins, & diced celery sandwiches on whole wheat bread !
