My boys (and I) love to watch Phineas and Ferb in our home!  I often find myself laughing out loud at the things that Candace says and does, as well as Perry the Platypus.  It is definitely a show that both kids and adults can enjoy watching together!  If you love Phineas and Ferb, you won’t want to miss the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, set to debut on Friday, August 5th (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Saturday, August 13th (10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.  Phineas and Ferb is Disney’s Emmy Award-winning hit series and TV’s #1 animated show among Tweens for the past three years.

ABOUT PHINEAS AND FERB

Phineas and Ferb is the animated series that follows two stepbrothers, Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, as they happily set out to conquer boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count.  Throughout the escapades, they’re accompanied by Perry the Platypus, their seemingly mindless family pet who, unbeknownst to all, has a double life as suave secret Agent P, deftly battling the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the world.  Meanwhile, older sister Candace is aghast at her brothers’ bold antics and makes it her life’s work to tattle on them to Mom and Dad, though somehow she can never seem to catch the boys red-handed.

In the Disney Channel Original Movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension, Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey yet, into another dimension!  When the boys finally discover that Perry is in fact a secret agent who battles the forces of evil daily, they join him on a grand adventure that blasts them to another dimension where Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken over an alternate Tri-state Area.  When they uncover his ploy to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-state Area, the gang, as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him.

MY THOUGHTS

I am constantly being reminded to DVR the Premiere of “Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension” when it airs on the Disney Channel on August 5th.  The boys are super excited to watch the movie and were thrilled when they saw a fun Phineas and Ferb kit arrive in the mail one day.  Immediately, they staked claim on the shirts, books, water bottle, and even the Macaroni and Cheese (insert laugh).  We also had the chance to watch Phineas and Ferb: The Daze of Summer on DVD and laughed as much as we do when we watch Phineas and Ferb on TV.

I received a collection of all things Phineas and Ferb from the Disney Channel as part of a campaign with Team to facilitate this review.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.
