Betty Crocker® Fruit Flavored Snacks are a staple in our home.  I grew up with Betty Crocker® and so are my boys.  Right now, Betty Crocker® has an awesome program called Win & Give.  Did you know that 83 percent of kids believe that they can help children in other countries in addition to people in their own communities?  That’s according to the “Kids’ Altruism Indicator,” conducted in partnership with Parenting magazine.

Through the end of May, the “Win & Give” campaign provides an easy way for kids to give back.  Kids in the U.S. have an opportunity to instantly win a laptop from specially-marked packages of Betty Crocker® Fruit Flavored Snacks.  For each laptop won, Betty Crocker® Fruit Flavored Snacks will donate a laptop to a child in Africa.  It’s that simple!

    I donate toys to our local toy drive, we donate to our local food bank. We give clothing and household items to Goodwill. I donate books to the Friends of the Library bookstore.

    we try to give back by donating to causes,we try to keep our neighborhood clean,collect labels,box tops and even cans for a lady neighbor who uses the money to help buy her prescriptions

    I have been the chairman of our school’s book fair for 11 years.
    I started as a co-chair when my son was in kindergarten and the following year I chaired it on my own and never looked back.
    I want to encourage kids to read and to get as many books as possible into their sweet little hands. All our books are 20% off and I hold a spring and fall book fair.
    My son, daughter, husband and many volunteers help with set up, selling and take down. There is a lot of planning and scheduling beforehand and take down, clean up and paperwork afterward.
    The whole town is invited and we even get aunts, uncles, grandparents and homeschooling parents that come and take advantage of our wonderful prices and selection.
    To me it is well worth the effort and I am even considering staying on to help after my kids graduate.

    I like to donate to Toys for Tots and Operation Shoebox with my two little ones, so they learn the importance of giving back. My oldest daughter and I like to collect extras from the good deals at CVS and Walgreens to donate to a local shelter for pregnant teens. Thanks for the chance to win!

    boxes to the troops, angel tree, extra food with coupons but my fav is when the kids mow the lawn for seniors locally because they know its too hot for them and do not ask them for anything because they know they cannot afford it

    We give back inn our own community by participating in the benefits and auctions that are oftne held to help local families who’ve fallen on hard times due to illness, fires, etc. It’s one of the many things we love about living in a small community where everyone helps their neighbors!

    I don’t trust organizations to handle donations, so we keep our giving to our backyard. We choose a child from the angel tree to give them things they need for Christmas, we given food to the local food pantry, and we will hand food to a homeless person.

    I do not have much resources to give back (as far as monetary), but I try to donate books that I have already read, clothes that I do not need. I also try and help others out if they need something. I was at the library the other day and an elderly lady needed help with the computer. I spent some time and helped her. I know that to most people these aren’t BIG things, but it makes me feel good.

    I am always giving away things on Free Cycle. I also help out at MOPS. Every MADD our MOPS group collects household items to give to our local womens shelter, I always help with that.

    I started the Canadian National Autism Foundation across Canada and also have 100`s of families around the world that I help with autism information and a shoulder and ear for them I DO NOT GET PAID my time is all volunteer 5-7 days a week

    I have been teaching my kids to give to those they meet that need, for example up till a couple months ago we lived in the city so everyday when we were out we bought food and gave it to someone that was homeless we also donate everything we dont use or need instead of selling it. It is always better to give than recieve!

    My kids and I are monthly volunteers at our local food bank. Not only do we donate every month, we will spend 2 hours helping out by sorting food to the appropriate shelves. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but it’s given us a real appreciation for how difficult things can get in this world.

    We are in training for our first 5K to raise awareness and money for a cure for colon cancer in Daddy’s honor and memory. We also give food to our local foodbank and donate gently used clothes and goods to the local shelter.

    I make food for friends and neighbors who are sick and take my kids with me to deliver it so they can learn about helping others. I also use my freebies and samples to give to our local battered women’s shelter. My husband and I also teach Bible classes and volunteer through our church and participate in mission trips to El Salvador where we take donated goods and teach classes.

    We try to do everything we can to help others and give back. We donate clothes and toysto families in need as well as donating to local food banks. We also help out with the kids school in thier fundraisers and donate our time when we can. We also teach our kids to help others and give back by taking them with us to do various things like food drives.
