Eucerin SkinFIRST Giveaway

I am excited to be working with Eucerin again as a part of their Eucerin SkinFIRST Blogger Network.  I had a wonderful experience using the Eucerin skin products at home and learned a lot about maintaining healthy skin.  I went a step further by taking the Eucerin SkinFIRST Pledge.

Eucerin’s SkinFIRST Ambassador is Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan from Apartment Therapy.  She is traveling across the nation to promote healthy skin care.  Eucerin is also partnering with Regis & Kelly LIVE and ultramarathon runner Dean Karnazes to promote this message that is so important to your health.

Both the Ambassador and Eucerin will be helping consumers put the health of their skin first everyday by providing skin care education to show how important the health of one’s skin truly is.  She will travel along with the SkinFIRST Bus, which includes a dermatologist office, skin wisdoms and kiosks to take the SkinFIRST pledge.  Sara Kate will talk with locals in each city about the importance of taking care of your skin, especially when dealing with local environments and weather conditions.  Feel free to visit the Eucerin Facebook Page, where you will be able to follow the Ambassador across the country and can find new skin care tips as well.

I like to put on body and hand cream right after I get out of the shower. It seems to work much better. Thanks so much.

  2. Consult your dermatologist to assess the condition of your skin and get information on what care to follow ongoing.

  3. Use ordinary witch hazel as an astringent – it’s the main ingredient in Clinique #2.

  4. My feet get very rough in the winter. I use a pumice on them as soon as I get out of the bath/shower then coat them in lotion.

  5. i try not to use too harsh of a cleanser on my face because it tends to dry it out. so i use a mild cleanser

  6. My number one tip is wear moisturizer with sunscreen in it. Sun is very damaging and it’s better to just have it on all the time!

  7. I have combination skin, and what works for me is cleaning my face off with rubbing alcohol followed by a good anti-aging moisturizer.

I have big bottles of moisturizer at home and a travel size bottle in my purse. Days at work are long, so it’s good to have some handy at all times.

  9. My personal tip is to always … ALWAYS … wear sunscreen. Brown skin looks nice when we’re young but, if one wants to have lovely, wrinkle-free skin throughout life, protect it! 🙂

  10. Anything you do to your face, you should always do to your neck and the top of your hands (i.e. applying lotions or masks).

  11. Another sunscreen advocate! I apply sunscreen everyday and have individualized packets of sunscreen as well in my handbag!

  12. Putting lotion or baby oil on your skin as soon as you step out of the shower helps to seal in the moisture from the shower.

Wash your face as little as possible. My grandmother had the most amazing skin. She rinsed it in the morning with tepid water, and only washed it once a day in the evening before bed. I do the same thing and it has worked well for me.

  14. my daughter has extremely dry skin-she has OCD where she washes her hands quite frequently…to help this dryness, she puts vaseline on her hands/wears gloves over night helps keep her hands soft
    thanks

  15. It’s kind of obvious, but I try to make sure that I drink a lot of water to help my skin. It really does help when you are hydrated. Thanks for the chance! 🙂

  16. My skin tip is to stop tanning, sun, beds, booths… all of them, quit it or you’ll eventually look like an old leather purse.

  17. In the Winter I put ultra rich moisture on my hands and feed and then sleep with gloves and socks on. It may look a bit silly, but it really saves them from being depleted.

  18. A personal skin tip….hmm, I have such incredibly dry skin I am always searching for a remedy. Oh, I do use baking soda to exfolliate my face regularly…makes my skin feel great, soft. 🙂 Thank you.

  19. My best skin tip is to moisturize straight out of the shower.
Your pores are open from the heat and will retain the moisture longer.

  20. Moisturize when you are fresh out of the shower and dried off so your skin can soak in the lotion and be soft.

LOL, use mineral makeup – at least it won’t hurt your skin if you forget to take it off at night!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  22. one tip I have is to wear a hat when working out in the yard to block those harmful uv rays

Wash your face twice daily (unless you have sensitive skin). Washing in the morning removes oil and dead skin cells that build up while you sleep. Washing at night removes the makeup, sunscreen pollutants and dust your face confronts during the day.
