Today, at 1:08, a rocket was set to launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base.  It was a few minutes late, and even though we were standing outside waiting for it, we only were able to catch the trail.  The booming sound didn’t happen until about thirty seconds after the trail appeared in the sky.  Pretty cool though, right?

    At first, I was like what kinda cloud is that!? Then I read the description. lol

  4. Totally cool…. we love watching the launches from Kennedy Space Center from our balcony. They are really little, but we can see some of it and they are awesome.
