“Who Wants to be a Millionaire” Giveaway

September is the month of many new season premieres…and a month many of us in the tv viewing world look forward to!  On September 13th, the new season of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” began!  Now, it’s a real game-changer!  From the very first question, you’ll see more strategy, more unpredictability and more excitement!  Plus, we’re introducing a new lifeline, and the road to a million is going to get a bit shorter.  It’s the same great “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” with a few new twists and turns that will add even more risk, reward and fun!

FROM ZERO TO A MILLION IN JUST 14 QUESTIONS!

We’ve made the path to the ultimate game show victory even faster, by eliminating the $50,000 question.  With the start of the new season, contestants will have one less hurdle to scale to get to the one million dollar prize!

EVERY QUESTION COUNTS!

Millionaire will now be played in two rounds.  Round One, consisting of the first ten questions is where we’ve made some big changes to game play.  For those questions, both difficulty and dollar values are now randomized to create greater drama, risk and reward for both contestants and viewers.  Now, the first question of the game could be worth as much as $25,000, and quite possibly paired with the easiest question of the day.

There’s an added bonus to these first ten randomized questions – the dollars are cumulative, enabling contestants to make bigger money, faster.

Once a contestant gets past the exciting first round of questions, we’re into Round Two where the ultimate goal remains the same – to take home the million dollar grand prize.  First, however, contestants will still face the $100,000, $250,000, and $500,000 questions.  With winnings of this magnitude, Millionaire remains the richest game show on television!

  2. The first thing I would do is to take a trip to Machu Pichu. I have a strong desire to go there and want to do it while I can still hike around :).

  3. If I won $500,000, I would take the family on vacation to St. Lucia, let my husband get the Corvette he wants, save the rest for college and retirement

  4. The first thing I would do is pay off my house and then put some money aside for my kids college. I’d also like to bring my family to Disney.
    Thanks so much.

  5. With 500,000 dollars, I would definitely buy a home for my family. We are a 1 income family, and we’re struggling to make ends meet. Our biggest dream is to own a home to raise our 3 kids in. This question was a no-brainer,lol

  6. I’d pay off all my bills. I live with friends, who let me live with them to keep from being homeless< so I'd also pay off their bills including the house. After that, I'd give 10% to charity. Then I'd save the rest to live off of.

  7. First I would pay off our bills and our mortgage! 🙂 Then I would set up accounts for college for my kids.

  8. I’d pay off my bills, pay off my student loans, buy a new car, buy my parents a new car, put a down payment on a house, stash a little in savings, and go on one heck of a vacation!

  9. If I won a huge sum of money like that – first thing I would do is find a trusted financial advisor.
    Then I’d go into shock!

  10. First I’d pay off the mortgage on my mom’s house so she could continue to live there after my dad died leaving her no insurance. 🙁

  11. I would make certain to set aside some for each of 5 kids to complete college and for their weddings
I would give 10% to charity
I would pay off my house
I would buy a new car for myself and daughter
I would give my Mom and Dad, 2 brothers and their family and my inlaws a nice chunck of money
I would have a family vacation to Disney World
of course I would pay a lot of taxes.

  12. Following you on facebook. I would put some away for my kids for college. Buy a house and take a trip to Morocco so my husband can see his family he hasn’t seen in 10 years. Would also give some for charity.

  13. Well after tithe and taxes there would be about half that left. The half that is left would pay off everything we owe. Then we could fix up things in our home with what was left and even fix up the yard too. We have about half of our yard that has never been landscaped because we’ve never had the money to do so.

  14. I’d mostly be in shock but I would spend it on paying some bills, my kids college education, a nice vacation and retirement!

  15. Wow – let’s see! Umm, fund college for my straight A 16 year old daughter, do a whole bunch of long delayed remodeling around the house, add to my retirement fund, and then a bunch of *FUN* stuff for me like some trips, toys, etc!

  16. With the economy setbacks, we’re having a lot of trouble. So, I’d use it to cover the portion of the house that it covers, to keep the house. wish it could be something more fun and exciting to spend it for, but for now, that’s the mandatory.

  17. I would buy a nice house, make some conservative investments and would definitely hire a good accountant to help me hold on to the money.

  18. Natalie J. Vandenberghe

If I won that much money, the first thing I’d do is have my mother’s bathroom remodeled so that is was handicap-accessible. She’s 81 and still lives on her own.
    I’d tithe at least 10%
Probably buy a new house & car (for me)
    Contribute to charity
    Put the rest in savings

  23. Oh goodness I would pay off my school debt. I then would buy myself a bit of land in the mountains and build a small cabin. LOL it could happen.

  24. Snowflake07 (Audra)

If I won that much money I would, of course, pay off the house and put a big chunk in the college fund. Then it would be so much fun to travel to the places I’ve always talked about going. Egypt would be first on my list, followed by a tour of Europe; kinda like the Griswolds. 🙂

  26. I would pay off the house, the truck, sell the other car and get a van. Fix my parents foundation problem and invest in a business.

    member(dot)thao(at)gmail.com

  27. I would use some of it to pay off college debt. I would also save the rest back to buy a house after I’m done with college and have settled into a job. I would also give at least 20,000 to charities and give some to my sister’s family to help them get out of debt.

  28. WOW! $500,000 would be incredible! I would first pay off my student loans and once I finished school I would travel the world to undeveloped countries and provide medical care. If there was money left, I would like to start a benefit foundation to bring medical care to corners of the world that have very limited health care. One or the other would be great though!
