Thanks to Mom Central, I had the opportunity learn more about and try out the NutraSea Kids supplements in our family.  Over the past few years, increasing research has shown that essential fatty acids (EFAs) play an important role in our children’s development.  But getting our kids to eat fish 2-3 times a week can be a difficult task and while fish oil supplements are an effective alternative, the accompanying fishy taste and questions of purity often prevent kids from taking them on a regular basis.

With Ascenta’s new NutraSea Kids supplement, moms can provide their kids EFAs with a great Very Berry taste and Pure Check quality assurance.  Plus, since many kids have difficulty swallowing soft gels and capsules, NutraSea Kids’ liquid format makes it not only easy to take on its own, but also to add into smoothies, milkshakes, yogurt and other favorite foods.

Just one daily teaspoon (5ml) of NutraSea Kids provides children omega-3 and vitamin D for their development.  And since every NutraSea product undergoes rigorous testing to ensure purity and quality, we can feel good about adding it to our children’s diet.  Recommended for children aged 2-13, the Pure Check logo featured on all NutraSea products guarantees that they have been independently tested and certified for quality, purity and potency – a level of quality that sets Ascenta apart from its competitors.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of NutraSea Kids campaign and received NutraSea samples to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate

  1. Just curious (wondering for my grandson) what about the taste? You mentioned some have a fishy taste, but what about this one, is there any kind of taste to it and does it have any after taste or make them belch? I know my supplements make me sometimes burp, but I can handle it. I can’t imagine having kids deal with that. I would love to get my grandson to take something like this without any taste or aftertaste.
    Thanks for the info.
