“When in Rome” DVD Review
I’m always on the lookout for romantic movies. I LOVE watching them….especially when they have happy endings! I remember seeing the preview for “When In Rome
” and wanting to see it. I never made it to the movies though, so I was super excited to have the opportunity to review it on DVD. “When in Rome” was released on DVD by Touchstone Hom Entertainment on June 15th, 2010. The DVD retails for $29.99.
I really enjoyed this romantic comedy and thought that both Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel were cute together! Beth, an unlucky-in-love New York curator (Kristen Bell), makes a trip to Rome for her sister’s wedding. She is completely taken by surprise when she develops a small crush of her own. Bitter about her new disappointment of a crush, she plucks five different coins from the Fontana de Amore, magically igniting the passions of some interesting individuals – all of which she has no interest in. The charming reporter (Josh Duhamel) becomes smitten with Beth, who thinks it’s all because she took his poker chip from the Fontana de Amore. Is it really true love?

MY THOUGHTS
I really enjoyed watching this movie and loved that it had a good ending. Plus, Josh Duhamel is easy to watch because he’s so dang cute! Overall, I really enjoyed the movie and found it to be more romantic than funny! I’m so glad I own it now!

I wanted to see this when it came out too, but I, too, didn’t make it to the theater. Lol
One of these days though, I’ll finally sit down and watch it!
Thanks for this great DVD review 😀
