I love Hungry Jack products and had no idea the brand was owned by Smucker’s until I visited Smucker’s in Ohio in 2009.  Hungry Jack is well known for it’s potatoes, pancakes, and now syrup?  Yep, that’s right!  I had the opportunity to try out their all new, redesigned syrup cap that keeps the syrup on your plate and off the bottle.

How many times have you gone to pour syrup on your pancakes and tried to close the lid, only to find a huge glob of syrup left behind?  Yuck!  Sticky, gooey, and gross!  I’m so glad Hungry Jack has redesigned the cap!  This change was made in response to customer feedback fielded by the brand.  The Hungry Jack “smiley face” syrup cap surpasses other syrup caps by allowing a more controlled pour of syrup on your warm breakfast!  Ease of pouring with no mess – a mother’s dream come true! 

You can now find the new cap on all varieties of Hungry Jack Microwaveable Syrups, including Regular, Butter, Lite, Sugar Free Breakfast Syrup, and Butter Lite.

MY THOUGHTS

I love the Hungry Jack brand and am thrilled that they have developed an all new syrup cap.  I can’t tell you how many times I clean my syrup containers because they are gooey and sticky – thus creating a mess!  Thank you Hungry Jack!  You are awesome!

    There are many times we will have pancakes for dinner lol.
    Plus we camp alot on weekends and that is such a easy breakfast to make while camping .

    Hungry Jack might as well be a member of our family. Whenever I make biscuits, the first thing my kids ask is if they’re Hungry Jack. And we use their syrup (OK – maybe I just refill their bottle with whatever brand BJs sells in their huge bottles) all the time, too.

    We LOVE pancakes at my house! I fnally got a large griddle for christmas last year that now allows me to make 8 pancakes at one time so there’s no waiting with the kids in the morning. It has saved me alot of grief getting everybody ready for the day! I would love to surprise my little guys with smiley pancakes…. it would be a huge hit!

    With 4 kids growing so quickly I have resigned myself to the idea that we will never be vacationing at Disney for a week or going anywhere very exotic. It’s just too expensive and there are too many things the kids NEED. So I have instead vowed to do what I can to make memories here at home. It’s the little things that make a difference. I’d love to have this basket to create some morning memories with pancakes. Maybe whip up a homemade fruit compote to go with adorable smiley pancakes and add whipped cream then spend the day playing with water ballons.
