My boys and I recently had the opportunity to review a new, fun product from VTech called the MobiGo Touch Learning System!  It’s easy to use and the boys LOVE it!  I also love that the games have educational value and teaches a wide range of skills, including math, vocabulary, spelling, logic, and categorization.  The Developmental Benefits include Letter Names & Phonics, Basic Math Skills, Problem Solving, Science Concepts, Cognitive Development, Visualization & Memory, Independent Play, Creative Play, and Motor Skills.  The MobiGo is ideal for children ages 3 to 8 years old. 

The MobiGo Touch Learning System give kids a chance to mimi Mom and Dad with their very own touch-screen learning system.  Players have fun while improving their learning skills.  Educational games include fishing, coloring book pages, drawing, and playing instruments. 

MobiGo’s touch-screen technology adds a modern twist to electronic learning games, so kids learn while mimicking the way parents use touch-screen devices.  The MobiGo is portable and is equipped with headphone and AC adapter jacks.  This handheld gaming console is perfect for learning fun on the go for your kids!

You can purchase any of the 11 Licensed Title Game Cartridges separately, retailing for $19.99 each.  The titles include Ben 10, Disney Fairies, Disney/Pixar’s Cars, Disney Princesses, Dora the Explorer, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mr. Men & Little Miss, NASCAR, Shrek, Super Hero Squad, and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3.  There will be more titles released in the near future!

The VTech MobiGo Touch Learning System will be available in Toys R Us stores and online exclusively on June 7th, 2010!  The retail value is $59.99.

MY THOUGHTS

My boys really loved the MobiGo.  The touch-screen games were more popular than the keyboard games.  I played the keyboard game and found it a little challenging.  It is a great tool to teaching your child the different letters on the keyboard, but overall, my boys preferred the touch screen.  I look forward to trying out other games in the future, including Toy Story 3, Shrek Forever After, Dora the Explorer: Twins’ Day, and more!  Overall, I think it’s a great product and I love that my boys can have fun while learning new skills!

    We have the V-Tech Little Smart First Steps Plus. When my daughters were learning to walk it was the best walker. Plus is has great things to play with on it. My daughters (7 and 4) have out grown it but my 9 month old granddaughter is ready to start using it.

    My three year old has severe cerebral palsy and he activates the Spin and Learn Top with his feat. It is really the only non adapted toy he can play with which is very cool

    The Nitro Web Notebook would be perfect for my granddaughter. She is so jealous of her older brother’s gadgets. I know she would be thrilled to have one of her own.

    We have an older model laptop from Vtech that I just put new batteries in that my kids like to play but this one looks much cooler. I also like the Alphabet train for my son’s birthday.

    My 3 year old grandson has the Tote ‘n Go. He loves it. He now takes a computer class for toddlers at the community center. Since it is a 3 hr. drive to our house, the MobiGo would be the perfect way to keep him occupied when they drive down to visit.

    My son loves so many vtech toys. His one of his favorites is the Dancing Tower. Even though he is only 2 I think that he will love this toy because he already plays preschool games on Daddy’s iphone 🙂
