Today, May 18th, was deemed I Love Reese’s Day by more than 40,000 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Fans across the United States.  These fans showed their support by signing an online petition to create this fun, new holiday!  I personally LOVE Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.  There so yummy both right off the shelf or frozen! 

I Love Reese’s Day also kicks off the Reese’s Loves Back on-pack, instant-win promotion that give away up to $2 million in cash prizes through December 31, 2010.

I Love Reese’s Day kicked off on April 19 with television star and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup fan Lauren Conrad signing her name to the I Love Reese’s Day petition at the Hershey®’s Times Square store in New York City. To thank the 40,000 fans who joined the campaign and to celebrate this tasty holiday, the Reese’s brand is giving away up to 10,000 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at random to fans who visited the petition website.
 
In addition, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups is returning the love to their fans by launching the nationwide Reese’s Loves You Back™ on-pack, instant-win promotion. The promotion will give away up to $2 million in cash prizes in $10, $25 and $100 increments on specially-marked Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s Big Cup Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s® Pieces® Candies and Reese’s Crispy Crunchy Bars now through December 31, 2010.     Regular Reese’s Cups are my favorite candy – so delicious! I just eat them normal…I’ve never heard of freezing them. I bet they’re good that way too. 🙂

    My favorite is the twin pack of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, so I can share one with the hubster.
    I like to nibble the chocolate sides off slowly, all around in a circular like fashion. Then I like the gobble the center down in three bites.

    I love Reese’s Pieces.
    When I eat a peanut butter cup, I prefer to have them chilled (not frozen), so they’re not mushy from being at room temperature.

    I like to eat my Reese’s peanut butter cup all by itself (and all by myself–so I won’t have to share). My favorite brownie recipe has Reese’s peanut butter cups embedded into the batter/dough. Delicious!

    I remember seeing a Reese’s commercial with a vampire eating a PB Cup and leaving two fangs holes in it! I just LOVED that commercial. I don’t have fangs like that though… so I just take a bite, then eat the middle then nibble away and the edge that’s left over! 😀

    I try and eat Reese’s PB Cups slowly so that I can savor them but I simply inhale them each and every time. Could be that my husband and kids love them too so I need to inhale out of necessity?

    I love the Reese’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups – and of course dark chocolate is GOOD for you, plus peanut butter has protein for you!! I try to make myself eat the cups in two bites, but sometimes I end up eating them in one bite! Shame on me!

    I like the holiday Reese’s because I know they are fresh. Sometimes you get old Reese’s that have been exposed to heat or have been on the shelf a long time and the peanut butter center is dry and chalky. I like my oily and soft!
