I don’t know about you, but I think there is too much BAD NEWS in the world. I’d like to explore a new possibility on The Mommy-Files – TELL YOUR GOOD NEWS TUESDAY!

Whether it has to do with work, your kids, your spouse, your parents, something you saw, etc., etc., etc., post your GOOD NEWS here and let’s talk about the good things in our lives!

What is your good news for the week?

My good news is that I am having success with my schedule and feeling in control of my life (for the most part)!

I got three of my many, many, many looming gardening/yard projects done yesterday, even with both boys running around, and it’s raining today so I didn’t even have to really water the stuff! Woo! Thanks Mother Nature, for doing some of my work for me!

My good news is that my Kitchen window was unlocked and I was able to get up that high to crawl through it.!!! I had to break into my own house this morning. Check out my blog for details.. lol

Congrats on your good news! That’s a great place to be.

I walked forever yesterday, feeling it today but in a good way

Well Friday I saved $78 on groceries with coupons. Granted I shopped for two months worth (I have a really big freezer), but $78 is no laughing matter. I love coupons.

  5. My good news is that my little boy turned one yesterday, and FINALLY cut a tooth!

My good news is that the project that I’ve been working on has finally launched. CityMommy Austin! It’s so wonderful to finally go live!

My good new is that my daughter finally realized that she can read! I’ve know that she could for a long time, but I don’t think she had the confidence to try reading out loud. Now she’s reading everything in sight – all the time! Love it!!!

My new grandnephew was born safe and healthy 15 days ago and his Daddy (who is currently deployed to Iraq) is currently home on leave visiting his wife, older son, and newborn son.

My cousin, who just had a baby on Friday, is now home with her baby who (for a reason I’m not currently aware of) was in NICU for a few days.

I am getting my schedule under control too. We received some new homeschool books a few weeks ago and have gotten into a pretty good routine of keeping up with everything. Yes, it may seem strange that we are *starting* something new, but we school year-round so that we can take breaks (as necessary due to illness, when we go out of town, etc.), so it is not unusual for us to start something new at any given point during the year.

Tuesday, the 18th, is (was) my 6-month blogiversary for my frugal living blog. :o) Things are going well. My homeschool blog is also plugging along and I have made some recent technical changes (new theme, for instance) that is making it run more smoothly. Yay! I love blogging!

    Blessings,
    Cara

  9. I’m late… as usual… but I’m glad that even though my physical therapy has been KILLING me, it has helped increase my range of motion and my ability to lift a little bit more.
I am also glad that, you, Shannon are getting things organized and back on a schedule. HUGS!
