“Flicka 2” DVD Review & Giveaway

I just watched the movie, “Flicka 2,” and I really enjoyed it. It was a lot better than I thought it would be! The movie was just released on Tuesday, May 4th on DVD by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. The DVD is available online and in stores throughout the U.S.

“Flicka 2” is an uplifting film directed by Michael Damian (Moondance Alexander) and is a continuation of the popular 2006 “Flicka” that starred Tim McGraw. “Flicka 2” features Patrick Warburton (“Family Guy,” “Seinfeld”), newcomer Tammin Sursok (“The Young and the Restless”) and country legend Clint Black.

Carrie (Sursok) is a big-city teenager whose life is turned upside down when she moves to a horse ranch in Wyoming to live with her father (Warburton). But everything changes when Carrie meets Flicka, a wild, jet-black mustang who’s just a free-spirited and strong-willed as Carrie. The two form a special bond and Carrie opens her heart to her father and a handsome, local boy, but when a jealous rival put’s Flicka’s life in jeopardy, Carrie must to whatever it takes to save her best friend.

MY THOUGHTS

I thought “Flicka 2” was a feel-good, family-friendly movie and I really enoyed it. Sursok did a great job as did the other actors in the movie. If you haven’t seen “Flicka 2” yet, I recommend you check it out when you have the opportunity! Thank you 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for a good movie!

    I have always loved horses,an so does my daughter an grandson,they are such strong but gentle animals,I always wanted to have a place to have several but that never happened

    I love the fact that they are huge animals, they are beautiful, and can have a special bond with their human trainers or owners. My cousin has horses and has since she was young, they really seem to tune in to her emotions and can sense when she is down or upset.

    We have owned quite a few horses and what I really love is their personalities. It is really an honor to be loved by one! They are the sweetest and most beautiful creatures that are so often abused and many live horrible lives. We always kept our horses when they were old and they passed away being happy.
    This would be for my granddaughter who also is a horse lover.
