Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame & Giveaway

I learned of an awesome promotion called the Keep Going Hall of Fame, sponsored by Energizer.  It’s a great opportunity for you to help recognize someone you know who has done amazing things in life!  As you know, for years, people have been compared to the Energizer Bunny – ranging from celebrities to athletes to teachers and crossing guards.  Energizer has created its Keep Going Hall of Fame to honor those inspirational people for the energy and perseverance they demonstrate in their daily lives.

From now through April 23rd, Energizer is looking for the 2010 inductee into the Keep Going Hall of Fame.  That person could be someone you know, whether it’s a colleague, your best friend, a family member, or even you!  The inductee will earn a $10,000 cash prize and a $5,000 donation to his or her favorite charity.

    I would nominate my Mother…who came to America from Germany …learned the language…survived 3 children dying before her…almost loosing her life in one of the births, 2 abusive husbands, surviving us 4 kids…rectal cancer and just for being a brave WONDERFUL woman! I admire my Mom!!

    My boss who as a mother of 3 found the fortitude to leave a marriage where substance abuse was involved–yet I have never heard her bad-mouth him around her kids, coaches her kids’ sports teams, works a very demanding job, is always positive and seems to squeeze in 32 hours worth of activity into each day!

    Our Mother of course. who keeps everything going better then mom. My boys just learned that with me getting out of the hospital this week. Only mom can keep everything going smoothly. Thanks.

    I have a nephew who doesn’t stop, even though he’s in pain most of the time due to a car accident he was in a few years ago. He has his own well drilling business, fixes his family’s cars and does all sorts of other things to help everyone out. He’s wonderful!

    I’d definitely nominate my grandmother. She has worked several jobs at once, raised her own kids, and grandkids, beaten cancer multiple times, and still her main focus is the wellbeing of the rest of her family.

    I would nominate my daughter- Susan. She is energetic, loving and giving. She does special things for friends and family. She remains close to friends she made in grade school and high school and others she met along the way. I rememberr a quote and I don’t remember from whom. that quote said “you don’t give projects to those with a lot of time but to someone who is busy.”

    I’d nominate my sister – she does all the inside & outside work of their house, volunteers, drives her kids everywhere they need to go( and one is at college 35 miles away).

    I would nominate my neighbor. She is self-employed, has a wonderful relationship with her two grown daughters, knows everything about everything, is dealing with a mother with Alzheimers, and is now driving from NC to PA frequently to help her brother every time his wife undergoes another round of chemotherapy. And she’s still cheerful!

    My son! He has gone through getting a lung removed, got married, has 3 beautiful children, became a police officer and went on to college to become a CSI. He has so much Energy that I would love to have some to keep on going. Thanks for a great giveaway!

    I would nominate my daughter who works full time, takes care of her husband 2 kids and three dogs (one of which was a recent stray they took in) and also has sport active kids and is a girl scout leader and volunteers at her daughter’s school, and helps out with sunday school classes when needed.

    I nominate my mother. She took care of her mother through Alzheimer’s, her dad through a series of strokes, and my dad through terminal cancer. I only hope I have her strength when I’m her age.

    i would nominate my daughter sierra she goes to school,played on the high school basketball team,which they won the vermont state division 4 championship this year and she has a part time job..oh and i forgot the boyfriend she spends all her free time with.. lol
