Charlie and Lola are a set of cartoon kids enjoyed by children nationwide. On March 9th, BBC Video and Warner Home Video released Charlie & Lola, Vol. 10: I Can’t Stop Hiccupping on DVD.  The show is based on the popular children’s books by Lauren Child and follows the adorable siblings on fun adventures.  The DVD features episodes, including the title story, I Can’t Stop Hiccupping, where Lola gets the hiccups while her and Lotta are practicing a song for the school concert.  The hiccups are funny at first, but eventually Lola tires of them and wants them to go away.  Everyone tries to help her get rid of them, but will they disappear before her big appearance?

The episodes on the DVD include the following titles:

– I Can’t Stop Hiccupping
– I am Completely Hearing and Also Listening
– Our Shop Sells Everything
– I’ve got Nobody to Play With
– Thunder Completely does not Scare Me
– I Really Absolutely Must have Glasses
– It is Very Special and Extremely Ancient
– But Marv is Absolutely Charlie’s Best Friend
– I am Inventing a Usefullish Invention

The DVD runs for 99 minutes and is available in stores and online for $14.98.

MY THOUGHTS

I think that Charlie and Lola is a great show for kids.  My boys like watching it as well.  I look forward to seeing what Charlie and Lola DVD will come out next!

Eat a piece of chocolate. It really works. Or a lemon slice with sugar or a spoonful of peanut butter. But all said the chocolate works the best. Just a small piece will do it.
