Cook’s Ham Easter Review & Giveaway

We love to eat ham in our family.  Cook’s Hams are one of our favorite brands to eat!  Their hams are juicy, moist, and full of flavor, making them perfect for holidays and family meals.  We love to eat ham as part of a big dinner….with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, and dessert.  Then we use the leftover ham for Sandwiches, Omelettes, Ham and Bean Soup, Casseroles, and more.  My favorite ham is the Cooked Spiral Sliced Ham, with the bone in.  It is really good!

Cook’s Spiral Sliced, Bone-In Hams are part of an established holiday tradition in families all over the country.  I am so impressed by the dedication of Cook’s to the use of natural ingredients in the curing process and authentic, old-world, hickory-wood smoking techniques that gives their hams the delicious flavors they have.  I also love Cook’s signature, ready-to-use liquid glaze and dipping sauce that is included with every Spiral Sliced Ham.  Cook’s Hams are the perfect addition to make your Easter holiday a memorable day!

MY THOUGHTS

I am totally impressed with Cook’s Hams and look forward to cooking them every time I purchase them at the store.  I look for the foil wrapped hams and the Cook’s Ham logo and know I will be getting a delicious tasting ham that my family will enjoy.

  1. I make a ham, carrot, and potato casserole. My whole family loves it more than the actual ham meal.

  2. We usually use the ham to make ham sandwiches, or we fry it for breakfast with eggs. Thanks for the review and giveaway!

  3. I love ham leftovers!
    I make bean soup.
Also slice, dice some and freeze for later meals.
Wow the ham goes a long ways!

  4. My favorite way to eat leftover ham (and I love Cook’s) is all by itself. However, if I need to create a meal, I make scallop potatoes with ham; and, if I have a ham bone, I make beans. I’m getting hungry!

  5. With leftover ham we of course have sandwiches! I take the ham bone and cook it with pinto beans. We also will have some for breakfast with eggs.

  7. We always make ham pot pie first and then we usually have a bean & ham soup. If there’s any ham left after that we use it for ham sandwiches.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. This is simple but my kids love it. I cook elbow macaroni. Then I make a cheese sauce and add the ham and frozen peas to it and mix it in with the macaroni.

  11. The week after Easter will see ham on rye sandwiches, grilled ham and cheese sandwichs, and an excellent pot of ham and beans.

  12. When I have leftover ham I cut in up in cubes and freeze it in portion size vacuum sealed bags. I then use it for topping on chef salads and in omelettes.

  13. Deborah Wellenstein

Ham & cheese omelets, macaroni and cheese and ham, ham and potatoes au gratin, also scalloped potatoes and ham. If there’s any after that, I’ll use that in a chef’s salad.

  14. I make a great chunky potato & cheese casserole that is great with leftover ham in it! Omlettes are good too, especially with cheese.

  15. We use left over ham to make up a large pot of split peas with ham soup.
    Yum.
    Thanks for hosting a giveaway.
    Kindly,
    Chris

    Ham Ployes ( Scrumptious)
Make buckwheat pancake according to package directions ( Ploye flour is sold on the internet)
Lay a few chunks of that smoked leftover ham on top, add a handful of shredded sharp cheddar, fold over and serve hot.
Buckwheat is “in”, folks. Look it up on wikipedia

  17. To be honest, we just love having leftover ham pieces (usually reheated through frying or slight boiling) with steamed rice.

  18. I always chop some small pieces for omelets, then there are the chunks that will go in Navy or Butterbeans, and then some to go in a potato casserole.

  20. My favorite use for leftover ham is ham sandwiches. Tons of mustard, just a skiff of mayo and maybe a leaf of lettuce if I have some nice and crisp in the refrigerator.

  21. There usually isn’t much ham left over. When there is we make ham sandwiches. There’s nothing better. Thanks for the giveaway.

  22. Ham ham ham ham, ham ham ham! Ham ham ham ham. Ham is great for sandwiches, stews, and just straight up with eggs for breakfast. Thanks for the giveaway, the only thing better than ham is free ham (or maybe bacon 🙂 ). Woo!

  23. When we buy a ham, my husband slices it up first, and then we freeze some for dinners, and some for sandwiches. The little pieces, we use for sandwiches. When I serve ham, I serve green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy, and of COURSE, a good dessert.

  24. I love to make split pea soup with the leftover bone and pieces of ham, yummy!
