Aloha Friday #44
Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday! Thanks to Kailani at An Island Life, I participate in Aloha Friday each Friday!
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
Did you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? What did you do that evening?
I did wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. We actually didn’t have corned beef and cabbage that night. The grocery store forgot to give us the bag that had the balogne and corned beef in it. We had a yummy roast instead. It was different than our usual St. Patrick’s Day feast, but still delicious!
Yes I did wear Green! I didn’t want to get pinched 😉 What did we do that evening? Well, we had a great green meal which was called Clover Patch and A pot a gold!! 🙂 Then after Dinner the leprechaun brought us our own little treats, then the boys and I had a FUN time decorating and kissing our Blarney stone. Happy St.Patty’s Day!! 🙂 We had FUN
I totally forgot to wear green all day. Didn’t even realize it was St. Patricks Day until at dinner that evening. Oh well. It was just another day.
I suren begorah wore green… lol… not an Irish bone in my body. LOL.
I didn’t wear green. I had an optometry appointment. They did thoroughly check out my green eyes though. That’s got to count for something, right?
My son and I both wore green… although we did not go anywhere or do anything.. Just wanted to be festive I guess! 🙂
My daughters wore green, but I didn’t. I attended a press function for baby and back to school products, then I picked my daughters up at my moms and enjoyed corned beef and cabbage.
I actually completely forgot to wear green (unless you count the little stripes on my undies) >.<
Although I did show someone a portion of my underwear just to avoid being pinched. LOL
We didn't really do anything that day either except go out for Mexican (yes, we deviated from our normal corn beef and cabbage).
Happy Friday!
I didn’t wear green and we didn’t go anywhere or do anything.
I totally forgot about St. Patrick’s Day!
During the day I wore my pink and green t-shirt with sparkly shamrocks on it (because we all know everything is better with bling) and a pair of jeans, then at night I switched tops to a fancier blouse and my shamrock vest (it matches Bill’s) and we went out with friends for food, laughter, a little drinking, music, and lots of friendship. Here is a link to my post, because Bill looks adorable, it is HIS holiday: http://wmljshewbridge.blogspot.com/2010/03/our-st-patricks-day-festivities.html
