I grew up reading Curious George (the books), so I was excited when it came to real life on DVD…as were my kids of course!  Thanks to Universal Studios, we had the opportunity to review “Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey” on DVD.  I had wanted to see the movie in the theater with the boys but we didn’t get a chance to when it was out, so we we’ve been waiting for the opportunity to see it on DVD.  It was a really cute movie and I hope to see a 3rd one after watching this one!  My boys loved the movie and it was cute to see them giggle at different parts of the movie.  The story line was adorable and I loved the voices of Tim Curry, Matt Lauer, Jamie Kennedy, and Jerry Lewis.  I also liked the 2 Never-Before-Seen Shows from the All-New TV Season that were in the Special Features.  My 6 year old even discovered the Curious George Game and had a blast playing that.  I’m really glad we own “Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey” on DVD!

SYNOPSIS

The world’s most beloved and inquisitive monkey is back in Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey, the fun-filled sequel to the hit animated movie. Join Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat as they set out on a madcap cross-country adventure to reunite Kayla, a homesick elephant, with her family. This unlikely trio faces all types of comic calamities and colorful characters and in the end learn that with family, friends and determination you can achieve anything.     afraid i cant recall the titles,but i used to love reading them, and my daughter had a monkey she got when she was 3, named george, wouldnt give it up or let anyone mess with it, and her dog got ahold of it last year and ripped it beyond repair, she was broken hearted, and she was 20!!! thats how much she loved curious george

    I’m not sure of the title…it might just be Curious George. It’s the story where he swallows the puzzle piece, goes to the hospital and meets the little girl.

    I really enjoyed Curious George as a kid. I remember him getting into all kinds of mischief but not because he wanted to be bad, just because he was curious and wanted to help out.

    We have a few Curious George books, and my favorite is the Halloween Costume Party… it really helped explain all the festivities (decorating, costumes, trick-or-treating) that we’re going on to my preschool son.

    I don’t remember the title, but the one where CG learned to ride a bike and then crashed and broke his front wheel and had to ride a wheelie around and then ended up in the circuis riding wheelies… that was my favorite when I was a kid. I still can’t ride a wheelie though no matter how much I’ve tried.

    Just got my son A Treasury of Curious George Book with 8 stories. It’s his favorite night time stories and one of his favorite in the book is Curious George and the Birthday Surprise.
