“Whip It” DVD Giveaway

I recently watched “Whip It” on DVD and LOVED it!  I am so glad I own it now.  I am constantly impressed by Drew Barrymore – first as an actress and now as a director and producer.  Yep, that’s right!  “Whip It” was directed by Drew Barrymore, as well as co-produced by her.  It was a really funny show and held my interest the entire time.  Ellen Page (Juno) did a fantastic job in the movie and I can’t wait to see what she does next.  You can read my review on the movie HERE.  Kudos to Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page for “Whip It!”

“Whip It” was released on DVD and Blu-ray on January 26th, 2010 by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and is available in stores and online.  The DVD retails for $29.99.

    Being an Ellen Page fan, I thought she was riveting in “Hard Candy”. She continues to be this great force of nature, which is very rare in a young actor/actress.

    Why, hello there! I guess this as good an opportunity as any to proclaim my love for Ellen Page and roller derby. I love all of Ellen Page’s movies but right now it’s Whip It. This movie is all about becoming the person you want to be, which is a fantabulous message; it also shows women in a refreshing light, and the quirky misfit in me totally connects with this movie. I would love to win because it serves as a constant reminder to be the peron I want to be and the people who sustain their individuality are made of awesome stuff.

    I don’t know if I’ve seen Ellen Page in any movies. I’m not a big fan of Stephen King, but I did like Drew in Firestarter.
