Each Friday on The Mommy-Files, we feature one blogger and have the opportunity to get to know that blogger a little more! I love Featured Blogger Fridays because it gives all of my readers and visitors, as well as myself, a chance to get to know other bloggers out in the blogosphere. Today, I am pleased to introduce Jessica from The “B” Keeps Us Honest!  I am excited to learn more about Jessica and her blog!   I love her blogging tips and have to agree with her on her actor/actress favorites (go Johnnie Depp!).  Without further ado, here is Jessica from The “B” Keeps Us Honest!

What made you choose the name of your blog?

“The B Keeps Us Honest” is a quote from my husband. We were riding in the car and I randomly mentioned that I often forget that we have a “b” in our last name. To which my husband responded, “The “b” keeps us honest. Our last name is Lieb. You can figure out the rest.
 
Who designed your blog?

I used a basic template for the layout and then created all of the graphics myself.
 
What do you love about blogging?

I love all the reviews I get to write but I’m particularly fond of the ones that are for kids, especially if they are green!
 
What is the purpose of your blog?

I originally started blogging as a way to stay connected with friends and family but over time I realized people enjoyed reading my thoughts about products I use and deals that I find. So I started, The B Keeps Us Honest.
 
Do you have any blogging tips (i.e. from those getting started to those who have been blogging longer than you)?

There are a lot of blogs out there, especially mommy blogs. Find your niche and master it. Make your blog clean, easy to read and navigate. Also, network like crazy. Join groups, forums, and comment on other blogs.
 
Are you married?  If so, how long?

Yes, I have been married for 2 years to my super hot husband, Joe.

Do you have children?  If so, how many?

I have an adorable almost 18 month old son, Jude.

What is your favorite movie of all time?

We love movies and I don’t think I can pick just one. So here are a few of my favorites: Star Wars, The Goonies, Life Aquatic, Benny & Joon, Wag the Dog, Big Fish, X-men.
 
Who is your favorite actor?

Actors: Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ewan McGregor. Actresses: Natalie Portman, Anjelica Huston, Helena, Bonham Carter
 
What is your favorite dessert?

I had a pretty awesome Ferrero Rocher Sunday in London… I’d like to eat that again sometime.
 
What is your favorite holiday?

I’m starting to like Christmas again but I think my favorite holiday of all time it has to be Easter. It a great season of life and grace.
 
If you were on a deserted island by yourself, what are 2 things you would have?

A solar powered house and my family.
 
And of course, you know me, there has to be a chocolate question.  What is your favorite candy bar?
