Great Gallon Give Coming to Seattle (and Giveaway)
If you live in Seattle and love milk, you’ll want to attend the Great Gallon Give happening in Seattle Center this Saturday, January 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. With the start of a New Year, milk processors all over the country want to make it easier for America’s moms to set the table with milk and build strong families in 2010!
Are you familiar with the National Milk Mustache “Got Milk” Campaign? Well, they’ll be stopping in 20 cities across the country during a week long initiative called the “Great Gallon Give,” where there will be hundreds of thousands of gallons of milk – equivalent to more than 3 million servings – given away, to help raise awareness of the important role milk plays in building strong families. I’m so excited that Seattle is one of the chosen cities! Woo hoo!
During the Great Gallon Give, you can:
– Learn more about how Seattle residents’ participation in the Great Gallon Give can help your local food bank, Local Lifeline
– Speak with a registered dietician on the health benefits of milk
– Receive a one of 200,000 gallons of free milk at Seattle Center
– Sample milk from local Seattle dairies (go Smith’s Brothers!!)

I am not a milk drinker. My favorite way to use milk is in my eggs in the morning.
It doesn’t get any better than an ice cold glass of milk with still warm-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies.
I like mixing milk with bananas and chocolate syrup as a milk shake. You can add ice cream too but you don’t have to.

Well cookies and milk of course. All though I really love chocolate milk too. I love to pick up a half a gallon of chocolate milk and half a gallon of strawberry milk and have a slumber party with my bestie! She loves strawberry milk!

Cold! I LOVE milk – a nice cold glass goes great with everything!
Raising my daughter, I love when she takes those milk bottles now as its my only time to snuggle up with her. On my own though, I really enjoy chocolate milk. A small glass fills me up for hours, and its key to losing weight for me. 🙂
