I kn0w it’s not even January yet and I’m already talking about Valentine’s Day. However, I have a good reason for doing so. You see, I am the ONLY girl in my home – 3 boys and then my husband. Therefore, there are no Barbies and it is definitely lacking in the pretty colors (pink, lavendar – ya know, the Valentine’s Day colors).
I was so excited to come home and find a beautiful pair of white and pink jammies waiting for me (review and giveaway to come soon – wink wink). Plus, going to the store and seeing the red, heart-shaped boxes of candy and pink and red peanut M&Ms just gets me in the mood for Valentine’s Day.
I also saw a preview for a movie called “Valentine’s Day” and I’m hoping my hubby and I will get out to see it when it comes to theaters! I also saw a cute movie called “I Hate Valentine’s Day.” This movie is already out on DVD and is a “Blockbuster Exclusive.” I think it’s worth renting!

I must admit…my favorite part of Valentine’s Day is the yummy chocolate! I walked down the aisle at one of the drugstores the other day and had to fight the urge to buy some already!
I like Valentine’s Day. But sort of in a non-traditional sort of way. I tend to get things for the people I care for. And I really think it’s neat when I get something (not expected though) that is unusual. My hubby got me a plush Cthulhu once. I love it! I’m not too fond of the red and pink combo though. That’s a little too girly and too sugary for my tastes. I’ve signed up for the swap!

I had a houseful of men, too – two sons and a hubby, plus now I have a boy doggie. I love the pink and red, and the hearts, and lace, and the flowers… oh, sorry, I’m gushing!
