FedEx logoChristmas is just about here and people are scurrying to get their holiday gifts and packages out so they arrive to their destinations on time. Thanks to Mom Central, I learned a little bit more about shipping via FedEx.  As a blogger, I received MANY packages!  FedEx is one of the businesses that delivers on a fairly regular basis.  I love that when it’s raining outside, they cover my package in plastic.  I also like that most of the time, they knock on my door to let me know a package has arrived.

I had no idea that FedEx Ground costs 10% less than UPS Ground, nor did I know that the new FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers offer customized calendars, cards, and stationery in addition to packing tips and assistance.  Wow!  I can honestly say that if I am mailing something important, I use FedEx as one of my shipping options (even over the Post Office).  I also love that you can track the package.  You can find out when it made it out of the shipping center, the estimated delivery date, and confirmation of delivery to the sent destination.  You can compare rates on FedEx.com if you are unsure of how FedEx, UPS, and USPS compare.

Happy Shipping Everyone!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of FedEx and received a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

My office uses FedEx since the UPS rates are higher. I love FedEx.

I’m just glad that I don’t have to send out anything this holiday season since Christmas is at my house this year.

I’ve never used FedEx before, I usually go with UPS but maybe I’ll try them out next time I have to ship something out. I stopped using the USPS after they practically charged me triple to ship out a 4lb item…crazy!

That’s awesome they cover it with plastic! Great service. I use UPS or the post office most the time cause they are so close to my house, but perhaps I need to track down a FedEx store. Especially since they are 10% cheaper.

I didn’t know that Fed Ex was cheaper!
