I love Featured Blogger Fridays because it gives all of my readers and visitors, as well as myself, a chance to get to know other bloggers out in the blogosphere. Today, I am pleased to introduce Krystyn from Really, Are You Serious? I am excited to learn more about Krystyn and browse her blog. I love her! She’s wonderful to work with and her business, Krizzy Designs, is what I used to create the graphics on The Mommy-Files – HINT: SHE’S AWESOME! I’m excited to learn more about her personally. Without further ado, here is Krystyn from Really, Are You Serious?!!
What made you choose the name of your blog?
My blog is Really, Are You Serious? And, I came up with this name because I am saying it all.the.time. Really, I am serious. The first memorable time I said it was when my husband asked me to marry him. I know. Not good, but he wasn’t showing me the ring yet, so I thought it wasn’t intentional!
Who designed your blog?
Me. I design blogs and print (cards, invites, business cards, etc). You can find me at Krizzy Designs (www.krizzydesigns.com). In fact, I did the graphics for The Mommy-Files, too.
What do you love about blogging?
I love that I can just put it out there. I can chronicle my kids lives, I can tell work stories, and I get to meet new fabulous people.
What is the purpose of your blog?
I don’t know if it has a purpose. I do it for me.
Do you have any blogging tips (i.e. from those getting started to those who have been blogging longer than you)?
Spread the love. Go visit other people. Leave comments. Not generic comments, but thoughtful ones. Let your true nature show through. Try to go visit a new blog or two everyday. I have a ton in my sidebars if you need suggestions.
Also, your blog needs to have a good “brand” image and layout. It should be pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate. I know there are a lot of blogs out there that are good with the generic templates, but it you regularly visit a blog, you will know who you are visiting just by seeing it.
Are you married? If so, how long?
Yes. It will be six years next week. We are high school sweethearts, too. (Insert collective awwww…)
Do you have children? If so, how many?
Yes, two fabulous girls. Isabelle is 3 and Natalie is 14 months.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
Wow. I’m not good at these questions at all. I think Little Ms. Sunshine is pretty hilarious and has awesome dry humor. I also like Goodwill Hunting.
Who is your favorite actor?
Another toughie. I’m trying to go through movies in my head that I enjoy. I guess Matt Damon? He can be funny and silly (like the movie where he is a siamese twin) or intense like the “Bourne” series.
What is your favorite dessert?
This will probably gross a lot of people out, but I love black licorice. I really like most candy, though, too. And have the worst sweet tooth.
What is your favorite holiday?
Probably Christmas because we get to celebrate Jesus’ birth. I love seeing the wonder and joy in little kids’ eyes, too.
If you were on a deserted island by yourself, what are 2 things you would have?
Definitely my computer (because there would be wireless internet), and my cell phone. A girl can dream, right?
And of course, you know me, there has to be a chocolate question. What is your favorite candy bar?
Heath bar. Hands down. I love toffee!

Ok well I have no cluehow to do graphics lol so I have a friend who I holler at for my deep hard work with lots of technical info stuff. I have utmost respect for those who seem to just figure that out like it is nothign. I LOOOOOOVEEEE heath and toffee too have you ever tried English Toffee Cappucino??? OHHHH that stuff is soooooo good…

I am so glad you featured my sister….now I know about your blog! I wish I could look at blogs at work. I like to think if I could I would update my blog more often. Then again, I am a teacher and they school tends to keep me busy every second I am there! I love your blog design (and it helps mysister did some of the graphics!)…the colors are similar to the colors I have used to decorate my home.
