I love Featured Blogger Fridays because it gives all of my readers and visitors, as well as myself, a chance to get to know other bloggers out in the blogosphere. Today, I have the privilege of introducing a blogger who’s blog was one of the first blogs I found when I started blogging.  She is so amazing (mom with 3 girls, 2 of which are 1 year old twins)!  She has an amazing blog that I find myself reading every day.  I can’t wait to meet her in person, but Vlogging and emails will have to do for now.  Plus, she lives in Canada!  Without further ado, here is Tammi from My Organized Chaos!! 

What made you choose the name of your blog?

~ I tried to think of something that depicts my everyday life {Being a mom of 3} and my battle with trying to keep my head above water. My Organized Chaos is a place where I can share Mommyhood, complain if I need to and help other Moms balance life with kids {and everything else that goes along with that!}
 
Who designed your blog?

~ I have always used Ragan with Blogger Boutique. She’s really quick and is great at coming up with good ideas and, in my case, sorting out my crazy ideas into something workable!

What do you love about blogging?

~ Since quitting my full time career and becoming a SAHM, I felt a loss of something that ‘was all mine’. To me, my blog is my job, my escape, my leisure, and my fun as well {just because I’ve met such awesome people and formed great relationships}

What is the purpose of your blog?

~ The purpose always changes! It started as a resource for family and friends to find coupons and discounts on stores local to us. Then, I got more and more international readers and my blog changed directions to offer more worldwide deals and products. I got into reviewing family-friendly products and found something that I enjoyed tremendously.
Again, if my purpose is to talk about the challenges of raising a school-aged child, or Twin toddlers – then so be it! 
My purpose right now is my 2009 Holiday Gift Guide because the world is scrambling to get those gifts bought, and holiday arrangements made. Yes, the holidays are our current Chaos right now, and I am trying to Organize that a little 😉

Do you have any blogging tips (i.e. from those getting started to those who have been blogging longer than you)?

~ I’m terrible when asked for blogging tips, just because I feel that there is no specific ones that everyone should follow. And I strongly believe in not following what another blogger may say, or try to tell you to do. I cringe at the thought of ‘rules’ for blogging. Your blog, whatever type it may be {if it has a type, that is}, can be whatever you want it to be. So just write your heart out and have fun. Browse other blogs, comment and make friends. It’s all about support and respect and having fun.

Are you married?  If so, how long?

Yes, I have been married for 8 years

Do you have children?  If so, how many?

I have 3 beautiful Princesses {a 5 year old & 1 year old Twins}

What is your favorite movie of all time?

Can I be all cheesy and say ‘You’ve got Mail’? I so adore Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, they are adorable together!
Yet, I enjoy so many movies of all kinds, the National Lampoons ones and Office Space are hilarious!

Who is your favorite actor?

Kevin Spacy is one great actor. And I am always amazed by the capabilities of Johnny Depp and Jim Carey

What is your favorite dessert?

Mmmmmmm, Creme Brulee!!! {sigh, now I want some}

What is your favorite holiday?

Definately Christmas, there’s just so much magic and love in the air.
And, I love Halloween too, for the wild imaginations and pure silliness that it brings

If you were on a deserted island by yourself, what are 2 things you would have?

Only 2?  How about my family and my laptop…given that it’ll even work, and how do I charge the battery?
K, no laptop then – how about earplugs to drown out the kids’
“Are we being rescued yet?…Are we being rescused yet?..Are we being rescued yet?”  Chants!
k, Better idea…no family either – pass me the sunscreen and a caesar, I’m here to relax and stay a while!.

And of course, you know me, there has to be a chocolate question.  What is your favorite candy bar?

Oh, I have grown fond of Coffee Crisp, they were my mom’s favorite!
That and Caramilk. It’s choclate, you should ask for a top 10! 😉
