“Little Spirit: Christmas in New York” DVD Review & Giveaway

Little Spirit Christmas in New York DVDI love Christmas time and watching the holiday movies that come along with the season!  Thanks to Genius Products and Curious Pictures, I had the opportunity to review a new DVD called “Little Spirit: Christmas in New York,” which was released on October 13th, 2009 and retails for $16.95.  It was a cute movie that was heartfelt and really brought out the Christmas spirit while watching it!  My boys loved it!

In the movie, “Little Spirit: Christmas In New York,” a young boy goes on a holiday journey of a lifetime in the city that never sleeps.  Moving to a new house in a new city can be scary and difficult, but when Leo’s best friend (and dog) Romona gets lost in Central Park, Leo is determined to find her in time for Christmas.  Leo feels lost and alone, but a magical spirit takes him on an incredible adventure and Leo soon learns that this new city isn’t as scary as he thought it was.  He also learns that the true meaning of Christmas can be found in the people he meets along the way!  “Little Spirit: Christmas in New York” features the voices of Danny DeVito (Deck the Halls), Lucy Liu (Kung Fu Panda), Brenda Song (“The Suite Life of Zach & Cody”) “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams and Freddy Rodriguez (“Ugly Betty”) – as well as music by country music sensations Faith Hill and Duncan Sheik.  Be sure to check out this family loved holiday title!

  1. I have never been to New York.
My favorite thing about the Holidays: People are a lot more nic/joyful(even if they aren’t) they still say “Happy Holidays”

  2. I would love to go to Rockefeller Center during Christmas and see all the lights, huge Christmas tree and fun!! I have never been to New York, and would love to go.

  3. I would love one day to go to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. I think thats what its called. That would be really exciting. The movie sounds great! Thank you!

  6. I love getting to gather with family and making candy, snacks etc. for our Christmas eve gift opening. I love Christmas morning sitting around while the Christmas Story is read from the Bible and then every one pigging out on all the traditional dinner. Visting with family we don’t see but twice a year.

  7. I have never been to New York, but I would love to go one day! I would love to see a broadway show! My favorite thing about the holidays are the lights and decorations, especially the Christmas trees!

  9. Lauralee Hensley

The one thing is it is often broadcast on shows, TV newsprograms etc., because I don’t live there and unfortunately have never been there.

  10. I have been to NYC twice and love the hustle and bustle that goes on no matter what time of day it is. Besides it’s the only place to experience a real broadway play (highly recommend Wicked!)

  11. The one time I went to NYC during the holidays I was in awe of all the store window displays, the tree at Rockefeller Center along with the skating rink, and how lively and fast everything was. It sure is a lot different than my small New England town!!
    Thanks for the chance!!

  12. We used to love going into the city to see the tree and the windows at “Saks Fifth Avenue”. Unfortunately, they had a major surge in tourists coming into the city to the point of it being impossible to get around let alone get near the tree or windows. The wheel on the stroller even broke off while trying to escape the mob we were in. last year was the first year we didn’t go.

  13. i have memories of going to rockefeller center with my folks and bro and sis and having our picture taken in fron to the tree

  14. I love Christmas in New York. The lighting of the Radio City tree, the Fifth Avenue store decorations and New Years Eve at Times Square. Please accept my entry. Thank you.

  15. The holidays are great because the kids bake cookies happily together. Also, we get to go out to a festival of lights and see special displays around the city. It’s a lot of fun family time.

  16. I haven’t visited New York yet but can say I like baking Christmas cookies and going to my aunt’s house on Christmas Eve for steak tacos.

  17. Well, I’ve never been to New York, so that question is out. My favorite thing about the holidays is just having the whole family together. Everyone leads such busy lives that’s a pretty rare thing these days. Thank you for the chance to win.

  18. I wish I’d been to New York. I love looking at all the Christmas lights on people houses. I’m sure the lights in NYC are just as beautiful during Christmas.

  19. I love the spirit of the holiday. Everyone seems to be more friendly and approachable during Christmas. I also really love watching my girls on Christmas morning. Thank you!

  20. I love all the christmas decorations that are displayed at all the houses around our town 🙂
