I love Christmas time!  This year, I will be hosting my very first Cookie Exchange, thanks to Wilton!!  I love Wilton products and always enjoy reviewing their new items.  This time around, I was in for a real treat.  I received a box FILLED with goodies for my Cookie Exchange!  Talk about exciting – that was definitely me!  There were over $150 worth of supplies in the Cookie Exchange Hostess Package.  I showed many of my friends and they are super excited to attend the Cookie Exchange.

Wilton Cookie Exchange (1)

In my package, I received everything I need for my Cookie Exchange (other than the cookies – lol).  There were the basics for the Cookie Exchange, including the Wilton Cookie Exchange Book, with over 150 holiday decorating ideas, as well as a planning section on how to put together your own Cookie Exchange.  I also received 2 Wilton Cookie Exchange Party Kits, which included 12 Invitations, 12 Envelopes, 12 Envelope Seals, 12 Recipe Cards, 12 Cookie ID Cards, 12 Treat Bags with Twist Ties, 12 Award Stickers, and an Instruction Sheet.

Wilton Cookie Exchange (9)

Before you go to your Cookie Exchange, you need to make and decorate cookies!  Bake up a bunch of adorable holiday cookies with the Wilton Non-Stick Mini Holiday Pan, with shapes including a Christmas Tree, Gingerbread Boy and Girl, Star, Stocking, and more!  Another way to make festive holiday cookies for your Cookie Exchange is by using the Wilton Cookie Pro Ultra II Cookie Press.  The Cookie Press creates 16 different shapes and 4 mini cookie designs.  You can also bake great looking cookies by using the Wilton Holiday Red Cookie Scoop, rounding 1 tablespoon of cookie dough for you easily and quickly.

Wilton Cookie Exchange (8)

Included in the package were a variety of cookie cutters. The Wilton 3 Piece Holiday Cookie Cutter Set includes shapes for an ornament, star, and present.  The Wilton 3 Piece Winter Cookie Cutter Set includes shapes for a dove, mitten, and stocking.  The Wilton Snowflake Comfort Grip Cutter is great for cutting foods and cookies.  Plus it has a handle with a cushion, making it easy to grip and use.  Add the perfect touch to your cookies with the 13-Piece Cookie Decorating Set.

Wilton Cookie Exchange (10)

After you bake your cookies, you’ll want to decorate them!  You’ll find all sorts of festive sprinkles by Wilton, including Jumbo Snowflakes Sprinkles, White Sugar Pearls, and Red and Green Sprinkles.  You’ll also have a blast decorating with Christmas Sparkle Gel – in red and green!   You can use White Cookie Icing, Green Cookie Icing, or Red Cookie Icing – easy to grip and decorate.

Wilton Cookie Exchange (3)

Have each of your guests fill out a Recipe Card for the Cookie Exchange and compile it into an email or card to send to everyone so they can make the cookies they loved again.  Always remember your Cookie Exchange with the Recipe Card and Photo Holder.  Award some of your attendees for Best Decorated Cookie and more with the Cookie Exchange Award Ribbons.  Spice up the party with Bottle Labels on Sparkling Cider!

Wilton Cookie Exchange (6)

Send your guests home in style with assorted cookie boxes, including the Cookie Gift Box Kit, Cookie Plate Kit, Cookie Box Kit, and Cookie Tent Box Kit.  Use the Holiday Parchment Sheets to separate your cookies so they don’t stick to one another.

  1. wow! what an awesome set! I would like to have the 2010 yearbook. I took a class years ago and I bought one of those books back then. I love cookbooks & stuff like that. This is a cool giveaway.

Okay, that Hostess Package is A-mazing!!! Everything you need and MORE for holiday cooking!! I, too, am hosting a “Girlfriends Cookie Swap” in December and could use… um… practically everything that Wilton makes. 😉 But my #1 request would have to be the “Cupcakes ‘N More® 23 Count Standard Dessert Stand.” Just this week, I sent my kid to school with 2 dozen cupcakes — and wished I had a cute stand to display them in for his friends. That would be perfect!
