General Mills Mr. Men/Little Miss Cereal Promotion

Thanks to General Mills, I had the opportunity to review the Mr. Men and Little Miss Cereal Promotion on select cereal boxes.  I received a box of Honey Nut Cheerios, Cookie Crisp, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Cocoa Puffs.  I don’t often buy the sweeter cereals, but quite often buy the Honey Nut Cheerios, so it was a real treat for my boys!  I thought it was really neat that on the back of the boxes were Iron-On Characters.  You could literally cut it out and iron it on to a white shirt.  How awesome is that???

I remember the Mr. Men and Little Miss Characters in books from when I was a kid, so it was a weird, yet good feeling to see them again!  These fun characters were initially created over 30 years ago for children in 92 books and have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, being celebrated in many languages, on television, toys and more.  The following characters were featured during the promotion:

– Mr. Messy (Cocoa Puffs)
– Little Miss Sunshine (Cinnamon Toast Crunch)
– Mr. Strong (Honey Nut Cheerios)
– Little Miss Chatterbox (Cookie Crisp)
– Mr. Happy (Lucky Charms)
