Chicken Soup for the soul what I learned from the dog

I love Chicken Soup for the Soul books and was recently sent a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Dog, by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Amy Newmark.  As soon as I looked at this book, I immediately thought of a woman at church who has lots of dogs and would LOVE this book!  If you know of a person who has a love for dogs, or even owns them, this would be a great book for them!

In Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Dog, you’ll see your own dog with new eyes after reading true stories about dogs teaching us to enjoy every day, dogs changing people’s lives, awesome rescue dogs, therapy dogs, the incredible intuition and intelligence of dogs, learning to put things in perspective, and learning to say goodbye.  One of the stories I really enjoyed was “Canine Counselor.”  This is definitely a great book for the canine lover!

You can purchase this book online at Amazon.com or at your local bookstore.  It retails for $14.95.

I received a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Dog so that I could post an honest review of the book.

What a great book. I don’t own a dog because I live in an apartment building but had them growing up. They do make a difference and they are such keen creatures. Now, I want one…..when I move to a house….I’m investing in a new friend.

Aw! They have some of the greatest motivational books 😀
I would love to get to read this one-I’m a doggie lover!

Sometimes my dog reminds me to give unconditional love to my children.

  4. I can’t wait to get a copy of this book. Nano is definitely extremely sensitive. He knows when I am having a bad day and in a lot of pain. He will come an stay with me or go and get Bill when he knows that I need something. He also seems to know when I have a migraine, and he will lay on the pillow up by my head and even lick my temple. He is such a sweetie-pie, he is like one of my children, especially now that they are grown up and gone.
He also knows that he can come to me for comfort when he needs it, like when Bill is running the vacuum – he runs right to my lap and knows that I will scoop him up for a cuddle.
