Just wanted everyone to know that George is doing well. The surgery was actually fairly quick, or at least it felt that way. I was happy that they had wi-fi in the office, but I honestly only spent about 10 minutes on my laptop! Between filling prescriptions, paying deductibles, and talking to the nurse, I was able to complete 1 review and giveaway today – lol!
He must have had some pretty good drugs because he was VERY relaxed!! He said “OK” to everything!! I could have really taken advantage of this but didn’t. Thank goodness he was almost unconscious on the way home because I turned the wrong way and went to do a U-Turn – on a 1 way street (going the WRONG way)! Oops! Thank goodness it wasn’t crowded! But it was still embarassing!
He’ll be off work tomorrow and is planning on going back to work on Monday. We go back tomorrow to have the packing taken out. Poor guy, his nose has been itching like crazy. He can only breathe through his mouth.
Anyways, thanks for your thoughts, prayers, and comments. I’m glad everything went well. I was pretty peaceful about it but you never know! Happy Thursday everyone!

Yeah that surgery went well. Glad it was okay with close call, too. I’ve gone the wrong way before and it’s nerve-racking. Ya’ll take care.
So glad everything went well. I can’t stand an itchy nose, I hope he can cope. Enjoy having hubby home even if you end up serving him all day 🙂

Not Breathing out your nose stinks…I remember when my nose was so plug from a cold that I could not taste anything….It Sucked! So hopefully that’s not the case for your Husband!! But Good Luck with everything!

I’ve had two sinus surgeries… the first was done by a doctor who apparently didn’t know what he was doing. Anyway, I know how it “feels” and also how QUICKLY the surgery goes!

Great to hear that he is doing well!! When my dad got his wisdom teeth out, my mum said he was completely trashed on pain meds-Lol-I seriously wish I could have seen that 😀

So glad it went well… LOVE those pain pills! You are a great wife not to take advantage of your doped up hubby. Hope the removal of the packing goes well, that can sometimes hurt (I used to work for an ENT). I’m sure the surgery will help his breathing and sinus infections, and he will feel so much better!!
