Yes, I am a mom of 3 boys.  And yes, I don’t feel like we are done yet.  Whenever I go to count and make sure I have all 3 of my boys, I always feel like there is someone missing.

I love my boys, but I so badly want a little girl.  Yep, a little girl to dress up in bows, headbands, cute shoes, and dresses.  There are women pregnant with girls all around me!  One who I am so excited about headed to the hospital to have her baby girl today!

The other day, I was at the doctor with my 2 younger boys.  I was sitting down and then I heard it.  I heard the “lamb-like” cry of a brand new baby.  Ugghhh…my heart sank and I wanted so badly to see that crying baby and comfort him or her.  Then a friend came over the other day.  She has 2 boys and an 8 month old girl.  I held her girl and just breathed in those wonderful baby smells – it’s like candy (since I never did drugs – lol).  She smelled so good.

Now, as much as I would like to have another baby, I am just not fully ready yet.  I have to be prepared not only to have another baby, but to have another baby boy, since I am a boy making machine – lol.  Only time will tell!

awww I know how that is! I too have 3 (but luckily my 2nd was a little girl lol) I know we’re not done yet (shhh…my husband is thinking otherwise!) I feel like I am on this earth to have babies…they make me happy, i love being pregnant, I love the newborn stage, I love the stage my youngest is (he’s smiling and happy…he sleeps all night now lol) I love watching my kids grow up, my oldest is 4 1/2 and it amazes me everyday that he was at one time, just as little as the youngest.

Girls are fun, if yall ever do try to have another, there are techniques to have a girl…just google it or something…i know a few people who swear by the chinese calendar or something. My little girl is a drama queen…and I was sooooo excited to have a little girl to be able to put bows in her hair and dress up…she was born with a head full of hair..but most of it fell out in the 1st few months!!!! AAHHH!!! She didn’t have enough hair for pigtails til she was almost 2!!!!

I know what you mean. I have 2 girls, and I know I am not done, and I long for a baby boy. I am so ready right now, but hubby is freaking out because he is in school and I am the working one. We will soon see 🙂

Sweetie….You’ll know when the time is right….You’ve got to read that book I was telling you about! I don’t know if it works…but it’s worth a try….at least that’s what the in-laws told us anyway! : )

  4. I can so relate! 🙂 I only have one little girl and am not quite ready for another one (it’s been 17 months)… but that doesn’t stop me from wanting another one!

I am a first time mommy-to-be due Dec. I recently found out we are having a boy. I know it sounds bad, but at first, I wanted a boy SO bad and was actually scared when I found out I was having a girl.
I was always a very laid back, down to earth, chill out with the guys, kinda tom-boyish. NEVER girly girl.

Sorry, mistyping on the last comment.

I was always a very laid back, down to earth, chill out with the guys, kinda tom-boyish. NEVER girly girl. So I knew i could do the whole, play in the mud, sports, and wrestling things you do with little boys. But when we found out a was absolutely terrified! I don’t know how to tie a bow and god knows I don’t know where to start when it comes to braids! haha. but the closer I get, and the more I’m on here, the more excited I get!

I think everything happens for a reason. You will get your chance. And if it doesn’t, you can always adopt or something like that.

I know what that’s like. I had two boys and wanted a girl. I got my girl, had 2 more girls and now I am done!

  8. You know your body, your emotions, and your family. You will know when it is time…. You also know that you are a terrific mom and that any baby that you have will be very lucky to get you!!
I love that baby smell, it’s as good as dark chocolate… I get to experience it as a grandma now!! 🙂
