CitiBlocs Review and Giveaway

My boys love to build with blocks – towers, houses, caves, you name it!!  As soon as I showed them the box of Citiblocs, they wanted me to open them.  I opened them and laid them before my kids and before I knew it, they were building towers and homes for their other toys (i.e. Scooby Doo and Shaggy).  I love Citiblocs myself because they are all the same shape and size, making clean-up super easy and fast!!  These are great for birthday presents, Christmas presents, good report cards, or just because.

Stephanie Oppenheim, co-founder of toyportfolio.com said the following of CitiBlocs: “CitiBlocs are wonderful open-ended toys that invite creativity. Our testers loved that CitiBlocs were both green and engaging and it’s fun to see how many variations you can make.”  Kids love CitiBlocs because every piece is exactly the same shape and size and each is lightweight! Kits are available from $14.99 for a starter set to $229.99 for 1,000 pieces. These toys are ideal for kids 3 and up (and parents will like them as well). Check them out today!

  1. I would love to win to give my son something constructive to do when my hands are busy. I just had a new baby and have to keep him occupied while I am nursing. He gets into all sorts of trouble when he gets bored. Citiblocs would be perfect!

like the fact that is safeand my 4 yrs old daughter can play by her self when there is no one around to play with!

  3. I love that you can construct so easily with them. When blocks get a ton of different shapes it is harder for little ones to build “high” towers 🙂 These look so FUN!!

  4. Glad to see that your kids are enjoying these blocks. They did extremely well with our toy testers (young and old). There’s something very pleasing about having such open-ended materials to build with!

  5. I like that they’re the same size and shape. They probably are easier for small kids to stack than the small rectangle blocks we have.

  6. Why? I am a mommy and grandma of a 4 year old and 4 grand kids ages five and under and they would like ot play with these. Kids love blocks. lol

    Thanks,

  7. I had almost ALL wooden toys last Christmas for my girls. I’d like to do the same thing for them again this year. I love wooden toys for my kids, I feel okay when they put them in their mouth (Which they will) and the natural colors are great for them

  8. I would like to win this because I want my daughters to learn to love the natural, simple and easy toys instead of all the bells and whistles. I want an imagination to grow from building and using the world around them for their creations!

  9. My favorite feature of citiblocks would be that they don’t stop imagination play! When kids are playing with a car, for example, it can really only be a car… With toys like citiblocks, kids can use their imagination completely, and make anything they can possibly think of!
Plus, these toys are wooden, and with the whole “lead paint on everything now’ thing, parents can rest assured!

  10. i love that citi blocs allow kids to use their imagine. kids love to creat and build and citi blocs allows them to do just that, their way… clallen at ntin dot net

  11. As for why I want to win this giveaway – I have a six year old nephew whose teacher says he has “attention deficit” problems. I think he’s just too smart and gets bored. He comes across as being very shy, however, he has a wonderful command of the English language (they speak primarily Spanish in his home) and he’s very intelligent. I think Citiblocs would be the perfect Christmas present for him so he can use his creativity and energy to build all sorts of things and feel the gift of accomplishment.

  12. I like the fact that they are so full of possibilities. You can do anything with them! Also, there are no interlocking parts, so my little one won’t get frustrated because he can’t get the pieces to work together. He has trouble with his brother’s legos because he’s not strong enough to get them together or apart.

  13. My favorite feature is that Citiblocs help expand my kids imaginations. My kids would really have a great time building with these. Thanks so much.

  14. I like that they encourage creative play. WIth all the video games and technology kids are having less creative play time and using their imaginations less. Thank you!

  15. I would like to win because I think my two boys could be so creative with these blocks and have hours of fun together.

  16. My comment why I would want to win is> this would be a great christmas gift for my grandson who loves to build things and could really take his imagination places to create with this fun classic building toys just like the good ole days when it was your imagination you had to use instead of a million tiny toy parts to create fun. so thanks for the offer.

  17. I love it that they are all the same shape and size – my 4 year old is always building things that won’t stand because he can’t get the sides even! Drives him crazy. (He has the same Kung-Fu Panda shirt as your little one!)

  18. I like the lightweight part! So when my son is knocking my daughter’s tower over he won’t be crying because the blocks hit him and hurt his hand as I put him on time out…

  19. I like that although they have suggested things to build, children are not locked into those designs, and can really use them in any way their imaginations can think up.

  20. Marjorie Whitney

I love that kids are required to use their imaginations with these sets. No instructions to fuss about, or to make kids worry about duplicating a photo.

  21. i like that each piece is the same size so it is easier to build wiht and easier to put away when you are done.

  22. I want to win because I think my kids would like to build with these better than the cube alphabet blockes we currently have.

  23. I love that they are all natural and every block is the same size and weight so there will be no fighting over which one’s they get.

  24. I would love to win this because I know it would keep my boys busy for a long time and help them to use their imaginations.
