Remebering 9/11

Today, 8 years ago, terrorists crashed 2 planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. A 3rd plane was crashed into the Pentagon in Virginia and a 4th plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania when passengers and flight crew took over, preventing the plane from heading to Washington DC. 2,993 people (including the hijackers) died on this day 8 years ago from the terrorist attacks. Instead of making us weaker, we became stronger and I felt like we lived up to the name of our country – the United States.

Please take a few moments to think about those men, women, and children who died during these terrible attacks and thank Heavenly Father for all of the blessings you have in your life. Also, please say a prayer for those men and women who are supporting our country in the military (here and overseas) and for their families. May those who died on this day rest in peace.
