Experience truTV

You’ve sat down with your spouse, significant other, or friends for movie night. You put in a movie about sharks in deep water. It’s a quiet scene where the water is calm and it’s somewhat dark on the screen. You’re watching intensely to see what happens next. BAM! Out of the corner of the screen comes a shark with huge teeth, mouth open wide and quick snap of his jaw shut!

How do you react? Do you jump a little bit? Do you jump up, squealing and grabbing the person next to you? Do you just sit there like it’s no big deal waiting for something “big” to happen? Maybe the startling scene causes you to jump up and whack the guy in the arm who just happens to be sitting next to you? Do you yell at the television, thinking you might scare the shark away? I would probably jump (maybe scream depending if someone’s being attacked from out of the blue) and then laugh afterwards because I probably looked like an idiot a few seconds earlier!
