This post was sponsored by Sears. All the opinions are mine. I recently had the opportunity to check out Sears’ CampusReady section on their website. Sears knows how much preparation goes into getting Campus Ready and wants to make the transition as painless and fun as possible!

You can shop by dorm room! I love the set up they display and the different themes you can choose from, including Funky Femm, Haute Couture, Vintage Chic, All Around Athlete, and Play It Your Way. My favorite was the Vintage Chic look! I love that in the dorm rooms you can add things or take things away from the look of the room – designing the style you want.

You can browse through the Interactive Checklist, which is a great tool to have. Sometimes in the hussle and bustle of things, we tend to forget what important items we need for our rooms to make it feel more like home. On the Interactive Checklist, you can browse through various categories, including Sleeping, Shared Living, Eating, Organizing, Getting Ready, Decorating, Cleaning, Studying, Living, Getting Dressed, and Miscellaneous Stuff. Follow this checklist and you’ll definitely be on your way to Campus Ready!

I especially love the Money Sense section, which includes priceless financial tips for the student away from home. It includes ideas such as setting up a budget, buying used books, protecting your credit, and more. This is a must read section for both parents and students!

You can even look through apparel must haves for young men and juniors! I love the Young Men’s Superman shirt – I would buy it if it were in my little guys size even (and he’s a long way off from college).

Take a moment and browse their awesome Campus Ready site. You can also find CampusReady on Facebook.

Plus, as you are aware, tuition costs are continuing to rise. You can enter for a chance to win money towards your child’s college tuition, sponsored by Sears and Upromise. A total of $25,000 will be awarded. Upromise members will automatically be entered with a sears.com purchase through Upromise.com or you can enter for free at sears.com/campusready.
