I have met so many wonderful people through blogging and decided that I wanted to start a new meme called “Featured Blogger Friday.” This will get everyone a chance to meet some of the great bloggers that are out there! π This week, The Mommy-Files is featuring “Cheaper Than Therapy – Musings of The Mom Jen” by a fellow Mommy Blogger. Here is a little bit about The Mom Jen.
What made you choose the name of your blog?
Cheaper Than Therapy-Musings of The Mom Jen is about my life, my family, my neuroses and the title is very literal, it’s very helpful to write through the madness. Therapeutic Reviews & Giveaways is a fun site that helps you take the edge off and have some fun with giveaways and freebies.

Why do you blog?
Because I love writing. I find that my family blog and my stories reach a wide community of mom-bloggers and I love the support and the “me too!” attitude. Over the course of a year+ I’ve found a group of loving, supporting women that have become friends. Therapeutic grew from the attention I got from my main blog and I just love giving away prizes to people!!
What is the purpose of your blog?
To connect with others living the family lifestyle, whether SAHM’s or Working moms, we all have a fun adventure raising a family! My product reviews/giveaways are to spread the word about fabulous things!
Do you have any blogging tips (i.e. from those getting started to those who have been blogging longer than you)?
Have fun. Surround yourself with positive supportive people and mainly do it for YOU, own it!

Yes, 13 years

Yes, 3, daughter almost 11, son 8.5, and daughter 3.5
What is your favorite movie of all time?
Sixteen Candles!
Who is your favorite actor?
Right now i’m in the middle of Arrested Development on DVD, I love Jason Bateman
What is your favorite dessert?
Hershey’s bar with almonds
What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving
Hershey’s with Almonds and Baby Ruth is in 2nd.
