I grew up as the oldest of 3 girls. I was a girlie-girl! You know – the Barbies, pretend makeup, nail polish, pretty dresses, bows in hair, etc, etc, etc. I vividly remember heading straight to the “PINK AISLE” (aka Barbie) anytime we went to Toys ‘R’ Us. I remember pretending to be Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” (ya know, because I had red hair). I remember wanting to be some sort of Disney Princess at Halloween time. I remember wearing the cute Jelly Shoes all the little girls had.
Who’d have ever thought I would be married with 3 boys? Not enough estrogen in the house – that’s for sure. My poor boys had the “Mama Mia” soundtrack memorized for a while! I love to watch Romantic Comedies. Let’s just say that our DVDs consists of mostly my movies and a few movies my husband claims to be his type of movie! LOL
I loved to watch “Full House,” “Step by Step,” and “Family Matters,” not to mention “She-ra: Princess of Power” and “Gem” when I was little. I now own most of the seasons of “Full House” and my boys love them (yahoo!), but my husband would really prefer them to watch “Home Improvement.” LOL

My husband has a few sayings that drive me absolutely CRAZY!!! I can’t believe I’m even going to type them out (ok only a few). He says things like “Dropping the boys off at the pool” or “Pinch a loaf” (absolutely hate that one) or “Going to the Can.” He doesn’t say them all the time, but when he does, it makes me cringe! Then I realized it. This morning I was talking to him and he said he had to go to the can. My reply was, “Ok, go to the can!” OH NO!!!! Those words did not just come out of my mouth!
