Tasty Tuesday
On Tuesdays, I’ve decided to share with you some of my favorite, newly discovered (and some old) recipes that we love in our families. This week, I decided to make Rice Krispies Treats, but used Cocoa Krispies instead of the Original Rice Krispies.
– 8 1/2 cups Cocoa Rice Krispies Cereal
– 1 Bag of Mini Marshmallows
– 1/4 cup butter
In a pot, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the marshmallows and melt the marshmallows (constantly stirring with a wooden spoon). Once the marshmallows have melted, remove from heat. Gently stir in Cocoa Krispies until the Krispies are fully covered with melted marshmallows.
Butter inside of 9×13 pan. Pour mixture into pan. Spread butter on a spatula and press the Cocoa Krispies mixture flat. Cut with knife and serve. Enjoy!!!P.S. The only negative thing about this recipe is that they go REALLY fast! We’re already out π
