I had not heard of the tv show called “Burn Notice” before, had the opportunity to review Season 2 of the show. I really enjoyed it! It kept my interest the entire time and I would say that I would watch it again when the next season comes out.

On June 16th, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment released the USA Network Original Series “Burn Notice: Season 2” on DVD and Blu-ray. In “Burn Notice,” when spies get fired, they don’t get a letter from human resources, they get BURNED! This show combines the best action/thriller elements with surprising humor and a new breed of espionage.

In “Burn Notice,” the blacklisted spy, Michael Westen is fired as a professional spy and dumped in his hometown of Miami without money or resources and struggles to put his life back together and find out why he has been “burned.” The show also stars Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona, a beautiful ex-IRA operative who happens to be Westen’s ex-girlfriend, Bruce Campbell as Sam (Michael’s closest buddy in town) and Sharon Gless as Madeline (Westen’s hypochondriact mother).

The “Burn Notice” Season Two Blu-ray Disc and DVD sets feature all 16 episodes and bonus features such as cast/crew commentaries, gag reel, deleted scenes and more. The Blu-ray Disc set will be available for a suggested retail price of $59.99 U.S. / $76.98 Canada and the DVD set will be available for $49.98 U.S. / $69.98 Canada.
