Michael Jackson Dead at 50!

I remember him best from “Bad,” “Thriller,” and “Beat It.”

With as much controversy as surrounded Michael Jackson at times, he will always be remembered for his musical talent.

This afternoon, the 50-year-old “King of Pop” was rushed to UCLA Medical Center after he stopped breathing at his home in Los Angeles. Today, he collapsed in his home and was not responding to paramedics when they arrived. Paramedics performed CPR and sources saw Jackson with an oxygen mask over his face as he was hauled away on a stretcher to an ambulance, which took him to UCLA (not far from his home).

Jackson was 7th of 9 children (parents being Joseph and Katherine Jackson). He was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29th, 1958 and began performing with brothers. His professional debut was with Jackson 5 at age 11.

Many enjoyed Michael’s music and he will be remembered throughout history. Farewell Michael!
