DVD REVIEW – Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts

I am always on the lookout for a good family movie. I found one! I had the opportunity to review “Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts” on DVD. It was a cute movie and left me feeling good about the ending. I especially loved the “princess” chihuahua, the pig in the tutu, and the talking monkey! My kids loved it as well!

On Tuesday, May 19th, Twentieth Century Fox Entertainment introduced “Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts” on DVD and Blu-ray Disc! “Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts” is about a girl named Maya Dolittle and her dog Lucky. Maya Dolittle (played by Kyla Pratt), known as “the animal whisperer,” is heading off to college when Hollywood starlet Tiffany Monaco asks for her canine counsel in helping her with her depressed Chihuahua. Tiffany knows that there is something different about Maya (her ability to communicate with animals) and introduces Maya to her self-serving agent. The starlet and the agent persuade Maya to star in her own reality series, however, Maya gets caught up in the glitter and glamour of Hollywood and puts her plans for college on the backburner. With Lucky by her side, Maya remembers what’s important in life and helps those in need of her talent. You’ll love this wholesome and heart-warming animal-filled comedy!
