Do you ever go to the grocery store and then can’t find the list you’ve been putting together all week long? You know it’s somewhere in your purse on a napkin or random piece of paper – or is it still sitting on the counter or by the phone at home? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to the grocery store forgetting my list at home.
I’d like to introduce to you the Smart Shopper. It’s AWESOME! All it takes is some paper (specialized for your model) and 4 AA batteries. You simply press the RECORD button and speak the name of the item you need to buy from the store. It will then pull up a list of items for you to choose from. You use the up and down buttons to select the item you want to add. Then push SELECT and it will add the item to your list.
If you find that there is an item you need to get that isn’t on your list, simply click on the SELECT button, scroll down to the LIBRARY MANAGEMENT button, and click on ADD ITEM TO LIBRARY. Spell out the item you need to get and as you say each letter, select the letter that is highlighted. Once you are done, say FINISH and push SELECT. You will then be prompted to press RECORD and speak the word. Once it is entered, you will select a category for it to fall into. It’s as simple as that!
Once your grocery list is put together, simply push the PRINT button and out comes your shopping list. Your grocery list is itemized into categories such as Baby Products, Snacks, Paper Products, Canned Goods, and so on. Stick the list in your wallet and you’re ready to go!
Another bonus is that you can hang it on your refrigerator, so you always know where it is and it’s easy to get to.

I am constantly changing my grocery shopping list. By the time I get ready to go shopping my list is a total mess with crossed out items, items written down in the margins of my paper. Lots of times, I miss items because the list is so hard to read with all the changes. I could really use one of these!

We live in the mountains so it’s almost an hour’s drive to a good grocery store; we limit that trip to once a month. My list gets pretty long and while I try to organize it, someone’s always tacking stuff onto the list in the wrong spot. That keeps me running back and forth between aisles in the store. I need to win this as being a new mom with a short attention span (it’s always focused on the baby and baby related issues and then house work oh wait baby is awake!) I am constantly making lists and writing things down as I remember them, however I misplace my lists so I have one scrap of paper with ketchup, hamburger, milk, cheese, eggs another scrap of paper with cereal, yogurt, potatoes, and two other sheets of paper with what I could remember from the first two, however I have misplaced them by then and I can only remember ketchup and milk?!?!? The SmartShopper is a busy mother’s dream come true! I am the one who needs this SmartShopper! With 3 young children, one being 5 months old, 2 dogs and a husband who counts as 2 people (LOL) I am forever getting to the grocery store or department store and forgetting to get something one of my family members told me to get. I have had to go back to the store on more occasions than I care to think about because I forgot to purchase something crucial that someone absolutely had to have! This would be great for my parents. My dad does all the grocery shopping and he always comes back with the wrong items. Diet cola, salt free soups, etc. that no one in their home eats. This would be an awesome way for mom to organize their lists.
I’ve never been good at making a regular list of items as they get low or run out, so when I go to the store its somewhat of a memory game. I try to make lists…but it would be wonderful to have one location and be able to list that item immediately while I’m thinking about it. How many things can I say I love about the smart shopper and I want one so bad, all of them. I have teens and their favorite thing is to tell me when I’m busy what they need or want from the store and my number one saying in my house is:

we are forever forgetting the list OR we don’t get everything we needed because one or more of the items wasn’t on THAT list… Normally there are a few lists around because we write down on whatever paper we have.. it’s sad
Because I always have a grocery list that I end of forgetting at home somehow!

I always try to write down what we need when I discover we are low on things. The biggest problem is that I have a bunch of little notes stashed around and something doesn’t get put on the master list before I go out for errands. Speaking my list items in this would uncomplicate my life tremendously! Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
