We live in a small house and don’t have a whole lot of extra room for “extra” things. Sam is now to the point where he doesn’t like to “sit” in his car seat, but would rather sit like a big boy like everyone else (even though he isn’t even 5 months old yet).

This is what happens when we try to sit him in his car seat – without being buckled in.

I started looking around for a high chair for Sam to sit in at the dinner table. I found a high chair that sits on a regular chair – thus not taking any more room than one of the kitchen chairs. It was the Fisher Price Space Saver Chair.

I’ve been watching for them on Craigslist (love craigslist) and finally found one for $20 – perfect price range – they normally cost around $60 brand new.

Sam loves his new high chair and so do we. Highly recommended to all parents with little kids not yet big enough for a booster seat and who don’t have room for a regular high chair 🙂

That seems like something Daniel would enjoy. He hates being left out at mealtime, too. Congrats on the good buy!

I really like this idea. We had a high chair, but gave it away so we didn’t have to store it. With our next one, I think I’d love this!
