16 months is the average amount of time that couples are engaged before they get married, but for many people, they wait more than 2 years before tying the knot. Enjoy a Disco 

Dancing the night away is a fun way to spend time with the whole family, young and old. For your engagement party, you could head to the local roller disco and enjoy some retro skating to classic tunes. Ask your guests to dress up in colorful outfits, and after you’re all tired from skating, share some tasty pizzas. Another great idea is to have a silent disco (especially if you’re in an area where you don’t want noise complaints).
