Today, on Redhead Mom, I’m sharing about 5 Ways to Save with Online Shopping in partnership with RebatesMe.com.

I don’t know about you, but we do a lot of our shopping online. We used to shop online a lot before, but once the COVID-19 Pandemic happened, our online shopping orders increased significantly. We shop for office supplies, groceries, clothes like these Daydreamer LA Graphic Tees, toiletries, and even textbooks. Thankfully, more trustworthy and reliable courier delivery services are available now so our packages are safely delivered. But with a big family on a budget, I’m always looking for ways to save money on our online purchases. Here are 5 ways we save money with our online shopping orders.

Sign Up for Apps, Email Newsletters and Text Notifications

A great way to save money on your online shopping orders is by signing up for apps, emails newsletters and text notifications. With these options, you’ll receive notifications of special sales and coupons just for being “in the know” of good deals with the company you are purchasing from. Sometimes we receive coupons for 20-50% off, free shipping or even BOGO (buy one get one free) options. It’s a great way to save money on your online shopping orders! If you are looking for more leads, be sure to try clickfunnels. Stock Up on Items

We purchase our hand soaps through a well known company online and when they go on sale, I stock up on them! It’s a great way to save money by paying a low price and ordering a big quantity of the items you’ll use over time. Sometimes you may even have to order a specific quantity to get the low price or to get discounted or free shipping on your order (also a way to save money on your online order).

Time Purchases Around Holidays and Seasons

Depending on what you’re buying, you’ll want to look at purchasing it when it’s in season (i.e. bathing suits in Spring and Summer rather than Winter). When items are “out of season,” you’ll find your chances increase of paying a higher price for them. A lot of times, brands will also have season related items go on sale just because the season is coming up. Purchasing items around holidays are also beneficial as a lot of brands will offer special discounts and sales in celebration of the holidays. Comparing amazon prices at www.hoteudeals.com is another great way to save money!

Play the Waiting Game

Do you have a favorite lipstick or outfit that you’re wanting to get, but aren’t quite ready to purchase it? Sign into your account with the brand or store you’re looking to order from and add the item to your cart. Leave it in your cart and wait. Be on the lookout for a special discount on the item in your cart or on your total purchase (i.e. 20% off your purchase or free shipping). A discount isn’t guaranteed, but I’ve personally seen it happen with items I’m considering ordering.

Use a Cash-back Website

Another easy and great way to save money with your online shopping orders is to sign up for a cash-back website, such as RebatesMe. How does it work? It is very similar to that of a credit card cash back rewards program. You simply buy what you want at a specific store and then you receive a percentage of your purchase back. For credit cards, you only earn cash back when you use that specific card. For RebatesMe, it’s a similar concept. Instead of using a card, you use the RebatesMe link to collect your reward.

Every store has their own page on RebatesMe. On the page, you can see exactly how much cash back you can earn, if there are any special promotional offers, and if there are any exclusions that might apply. You’ll also see a big “Shop Now” button. If you click on this button, it will take you to the merchant’s website and activate your cash back reward. Once you make a purchase on your store, your cash back will appear on your account page.

How the Cash Back Button Works

Instead of going onto the RebatesMe website each time you want to earn cash back, you can simply download the Cash Back Button. This is a browser extension for Firefox and Chrome that tracks cash back opportunities for the sites you visit.

There’s no need to go to the RebatesMe website and click on a “Shop Now” link. Just go to your favorite store. The extension will tell you if there’s a cash back opportunity for that site and give you the opportunity to activate it then and there. I love how easy it makes it makes it for me to save money and earn cash back while shopping online! For more details, check out the article.

Cashing Out

Once you have at least $10 in cash back rewards, you can cash out by going to the My Cash Back and Bonuses section of your account and clicking the Cash Out button.

There are 4 different ways to get paid through RebatesMe, including:

  • Paypal
  • Debit or Credit Card
  • Check
  • Gift Card

Be sure to check out RebatesMe and add the button to your browser so you can earn cash back on your online purchases! Happy shopping!

I wish I could stock up on items. I just don’t have the space in my apartment.
